We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

SpainFor us the mattress is a bit soft and sometimes the tv channels were noisy. If you are sensitive to the noise of neighbours use earplugs because the walls are thin.
The hotel is very close to the centre and the river, easy to reach. The room is comfortable and spacious and if you don't need minibar/fridge it is like a three star hotel. We tried the restaurant for a breakfast from the carta, it was nice and enough.

United KingdomWe were offered two options for breakfast. 7 euro for continental or 12 for full, we chose the latter. When we arrived for breakfast the waiter appeared not to be aware that we wanted anything other than continental was was clearly alarmed to the point of being rude when I asked for eggs. We then heard a bit of shouting from the kitchen so from our perspective the staff were not briefed on the option we had chosen. We were asked for our room numbers so it ought to have been clear. Admittedly language was a barrier, but this was disappointing nonetheless.
The receptionist was super helpful and we got a very nice complementary cold beer to start the stay. The location was very good with ample parking for our motorbikes.

AustraliaEntry to the top road on which the hotel is situated, from the main road, was tricky for our GPS and us.
Appealing, clean and comfortable room. Parking directly in front of the hotel and alongside the police station a bonus. Appreciated the elevator for our baggage. Most importantly we had the nicest and most helpful receptionist who made us feel so welcome as visitors. Would recommend and stay again.

United KingdomFinding the property is an absolute nightmare!! Very poor signs and the entrance looks like a housing estimate. Definitely not a hotel entrance. I also payed for the “traditional” breakfast which was €12, instead of €9 for the continental because I thought it was different. It is not! And no self-service for tea of coffee.

United KingdomThe younger man in the breakfast room was very rude, he raised his voice at all three of us individually. we tried to explain we did not understand but he just carried on. He then slammed the plate with toast on the table and walked off and one of the party did not receive any breakfast. His behaviour was unacceptable and spoiled what would have been a great stay.
The reception staff were fantastic, the check is was very quick.

A warm, friendly and enormously helpful reception. The entire hotel is obviously new or recently decorated and the furniture and all installations are of a very high standard. The location couldn’t be better, only five minutes away from the monastery and the main square (even if you walk slowly), but quietly situated on the other side of the river. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Ripoll or just passing through.
