The window was towards the inner courtyard of the building and it was really noisy throughout the night because of some ventilation and metallic sounds so we had trouble sleeping.

The location and price of this room were perfect for what we needed, we were stranded in Alicante after our train was late arriving and made us miss the last bus home. The host was easy to communicate with and the place is very clean and modern.

The bed was in very bad condition, there was a hair all over the place because. I recommend to change the bedsheets when the customers leave.

Very noisy. We heard our neighbours talking over the phone until 3am.

We stayed on the 5th floor, the room was a bit small but great for a short stay. Overall the apartment was nice with 6 rooms and 3 bathrooms and we really appreciate this for the timing.

The bed was quite uncomfortable for me being so tall so I didn't fit but that's about it.

It was in a great locatio and close to the beach so it was fine. Bathrooms were clean as was the small kitchenette was satisfactory for the type of place it was.

The rooms were hot. Fans were provide, but you had to run them constantly with the window open to deal with the heat. The only A/C only cools the hall way. There’s s noticeable temperature drop from entering the hallway to the room. So almost all guests left their room doors open with the fans blowing cold air from the hall into the rooms. A small low cost modification could minimize this issue by adding an open air vent above each door, high enough to maintain privacy and keep noise down. This will allow the cool air from the hall to enter the rooms with the doors closed and there may not be a need to open the windows with the A/C running. If not for this issue, my overall rating would be higher. I’ll take a discount on my next stay for this suggestion! 😁

The location is the best you can find for even more expensive hotels or hostels. The availability of a washer to was cloths, kitchen, keypad access to building.

The only suggestion would be for the bedrooms to have new beds, new linen and air con installed. We had to leave our room door open to allow for the air con from the hallways to reach us in the bedrooms. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay!

The location was superb. The instructions to enter the building were perfect and we had no issues accessing the building. The three shared bathrooms were clean and we had no issues using the bathrooms when we needed too.

Was too hot - had to sleep with door open and fan on but still unbearable. Rude staff. We were told off at every opportunity even though we were respectful. I was told I didn’t wash a cup when I did and that I must wash it in future.. I was told I couldn’t use any of the 3 bathrooms to go to the toilet when they had already been cleaning for half an hour. I also had the same experience when trying to use the kitchen. They are very particular about the cleanliness of the shared areas but bedroom was sub power and very dusty. They cared more about the shared areas they used instead of accommodating guests.

Comfy beds and good location

It was 6 floors building, where each floor was separated and on our floor were 6 rooms with 3 shared bathrooms, one of which (the most comfortable bathroom) was always locked and was used by a weird couple that was acting like it's their own. The lady even told me that she was watching the cameras, and the owner was not even there. This couple was always watching if you spilled a drop or 2 while you wash your face on the sink or you wet the floor in the bath when you take a shower... After all, it is a bathroom... This was not the worst. The worst was the temperature in the room. It was so hot that you couldn't sleep or just rest in the room for a bit. There was no air-conditioning, and it was not possible to open the window because the window was facing a courtyard where the outdoor units of air conditioners are, and only hot air enters through it. We had to sleep with an open door because there was only 1 small air-conditioner in the corridor, which was mean for the corridor only. It was super uncomfortable for us and the other guests because people walk in the corridor, go to the toilet or the kitchen, make noise (which is normal), but there was no other way to cool the room at least a bit. The sheets were quite old, and the towels had stains. It might be cheaper, but it's definitely not recommendable.We had to find something in the last moment so if you can afford something else, do it. And note that this La Marina is not the La Marina resort.

Noisy at night from the road traffic. Not easy to fix without double glazing. This was not a massive problem but was somewhat annoying.

The location is perfect for visiting the area around the marina. The facilities are basic but good. The only problem that we had was that the road traffic was quite noisy at night.

Pillows way to high and like a rock.

I guess we got lucky ad had a room with a balcony overlooking the castle. Was a lovely big room with a balcony. Shared bathroom was clean. Wifi worked great. Bed was soft but comfortable and room was perfectly clean. If coming back to Alicante again I would stay here,
