We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

All the staff and facilities were excellent, The layout of the hotel site , the lovely rooms were all great. Breakfast offerings were exceptional. We were gratefully given a free upgrade to a room with a private hot tub which was so lovely and for which are very thankful.

The abundance of sun loungers. The beautiful scent that greets you as arrive into reception. The Rituals toiletries. The staff. The food. The ambience.

United KingdomThe only very small thing was that the air con wouldn't work properly but as we went in December and the temp was only in the low 20's it didnt affect us too much .
The staff were excellent and soo friendly and couldn't do enough for you . The facilities were fantastic and everything was always very clean , neat and tidy . It was a fantastically well run hotel and I would definately recommend staying here ! It's also child free and soo quiet and relaxing and just a few minutes walk from Playa Del Carmen centre and the quay side .

Everything was absolutely perfect in La Isla y El Mar Hotel. Can't fault anything. The room with pool view was perfect, the breakfast was amazing, the restaurant meals delicious, perfect location in Puerto Del Carmen and all the staff were really brilliant, friendly, helpful and provided a fabulous service. I would very highly recommend this hotel and my wife and I will certainly be returning. It's one of the best holiday's we've had. The perfect hotel in which to celebrate our 30 years of marriage.

United KingdomHouse keeping took away our dirty glasses and mugs without replacing them but they quickly replaced them after we called them on the second morning. We stayed 3 nights and asked for ice for the first three days but the ice bucket only actually turned up on the first day.
It is probably the best hotel in lanzarote

United KingdomOnly disappointment was the inability to log into our Netflix account on the room tv’s. Reception said it was a licensing issue which it may be but we have been able to this elsewhere. Would be nice I’d they could sort that as we were there during the recent heat wave and had to spend more time than usual in the room.
Very smart and comfortable hotel. Large enough to have everything you want but not to large to be impersonal. Staff were as you would expect from its 5 star rating as were the rooms and facilities. Will definitely return.
