This was a wonderful place-- clean spacious room with a great views, very kind host who took care of us when we were not feeling well. Also, the hotel restaurant served us one of our best meals in all of Spain.

Would be nice to have a little bit more luxury: eg fluffier towels more electric sockets. But it is what it is: a charming country inn.

Lovely rustic atmosphere, sparkling clean, great Swimming Pool (as were upgraded to Fragua II), lovely family run hotel who also run the restaurant next door, which serves wonderful fresh food. The location is perfect as a base for hiking in the Sierra.

The beds were amazingly comfortable. The water was piping hot. The staff were helpful and kind and even made us a sandwich to take away on our hike. The roof terrace had excellent views and the adjacent restaurant was great value and served high quality food with attentive staff.

The friendlyness of Rosa and her staff. We could leave some luggage behind during our 8 days hike in de Alpugarras. We had the room with the street underneath. Quite an experience waking with the sound of horse shoes underneath.

The hotel was a little tricky to find as there are two La Fragua hotels in the same area and it's located on a narrow and tucked away street, but beyond that our stay was perfect.

The location was great and the general character of the hotel was brilliant. It felt authentic and cozy. The breakfast was also an added bonus.

The price was a little high for only a simple room

The staff were very helpful and answered our questions, even though we didn't speak Spanish very well! They also helped us to wash our clothes and showed us where we could hang them to dry, on the lovely roof terrace. We also enjoyed breakfast; no hot food but we didn't want any.

Typically Spanish in very Spanish village in the mountains. Traditional decor. The building dates back to 1700’s.Mountain views from room. Very quiet at night. Very friendly and helpful staff. Plentiful breakfast. Hot showers and regular linen and towel change.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable, with a beautiful view from the balcony. It is situated in the middle of the town, and you have to walk about 2 min from the parking to reach the hotel.

Superb location. Top sunset/sunrise terrace view of the town and valley. Really helpful staff who organised a mini picnic for our early morning trek before breakfast. Tasty cuisine at their restaurant a minute walk away. Street parking within a few minutes walk. Decent WiFi.

Check in was until 10 PM, but we arrived later. It wasnt problem and we wrote at to reception. The kind man gave us the keys and said good night. Nice hotel with mountains atmosphere

Our only suggestion would be to park in the bario media (halfway up the town) public parking as it is around the same level as the hotel. If you park in the main bit, at the bottom of town, then it is quite a steep walk up to the hotel.

We had a fantastic stay, the hotel was wonderfully clean and extremely comfortable. The mattresses were memory foam and the town is blissfully quiet at night, which makes for a very restful sleep. Would definitely stay again and would recommend it! :)

The room information stated “ the standout feature of this room is the pool and view”, this room had no view and in fact the only tiny window was up in the ceiling and the pool was closed, these facts should always be made very clear. Also had to ask for a plug for the bath and a hairdryer as none in the room

The breakfast was ok. Not as big a selection as other hotels. I booked a double room at La fragua 1 which said it had a seating area and a washing machine. When we were shown to our room neither of those things were in the room. No one told us where they might be. We decided to change to La Fragua 2 as this hotel had a seating area. This cost an extra 36 euro so either the host didn’t show us everything in La fragua 1 or the information on booking.com is incorrect. Either way when you booked it for those things it’s disappointing.

We thought the bedroom will have some kind of balcony or terrace as in the pictures, but I guess there were a couple of bedrooms without and, unfortunately, our was on of them. Despite that, the bedroom's size was huge, although the tv was tiny and located on the opposite side of the bed. We didn't use it, so it didn't annoy us. Staff weren't very communicative. We missed a bit of a "thank you", "have a nice stay"....

Breakfast was nice, fresh coffee and toasts, Kind of a buffet. Super confy beds and very calm and peacefull place. <nice location, easy to find. Clean and fresh towels as well as bed linen.
