Awful pillows . Shampoo in the bathroom but no conditioner . The better restaurants not open Monday and Tuesdays . Bar restaurant food average probably better to go out .

Smart, clean and comfortable rooms. Staff were friendly and polite .Great bathroom with amazing shower and sunken bath. Walk in wardrobe . Nice breakfast although if you want to sit outside it is a little inconvenient where the restaurant is positioned . Lovely pool area although shame fountains were not on when we visited . Large bottle of water in room replaced daily .

Quality and diversity of food. The staff was not kid friendly and you can tell that they do not like to have them at their resort. They prefer to have seniors that play golf all day.

Their 'reduced Winter' dinner menu! Not in the restaurant but in the Bar. Burger, Penne, Caesar Salad, and one other dish - I can't remember. No fish or no meat option. I thought it was pathetic for a 5-star hotel. I expected, at least, a buffet dinner to be available or a set Dinner Menu. Definitely, below my expectations.

The actual hotel facilities. The spacious, modern bedroom with wet room. (Bath and separate wet room shower) The modern hotel decor. The Spa facilities and all the outside sports facilities. (two football pitches, and two international teams staying, and making use of the Hotel training facilities. Oh, and two electric car chargers made available to the hotel guests. Brilliant!

The value for money aspect was weak. Maybe because I wasn’t interested in the spa or golf facilities. So, the stand alone BB rate didn’t compare well with other short breaks this year to stylish hotels in Athens, Lisbon, London, Venice & Paris. I would expect a 5 star hotel to be able to respond positively to a request for a poached egg at breakfast as an alternative to fried or boiled. It only required only a tiny amount of effort especially when the dining room was so quiet. Unnecessarily slow check-out, appearing to need to check repeatedly several paper files to be sure no further extras to be added to the bill. Surely this could have been done prior to our arrival at the desk to check-out.

Spacious bedrooms, comfortable beds, tastefully furnished good sized balconies, great bathrooms. Staff were polite, courteous & friendly. Ideal parking close to reception.

The only thing we were a little disappointed with was that the main restaurant was not open in the hotel.

The golf course is excellent and the club house is impressive. ALL of the staff we met were very friendly and extremely helpful.
