What an amazing place. It is beautiful, tasteful, peaceful, and the staff all seem to be actually happy to be there and work there. My wife and I had a most wonderful stay at Cala Lanzarote, whose location in Playa Blanca could simply not be better. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

There was nothing that we didn’t like however as a general note we think it would be a good idea to have a hook or rail to hang up the towel in the toilet. Also, from our point of view it would be nice to have a few small choices of snacks or salads on the poolside bar menu and perhaps some cakes, pastries or fresh fruit.

The staff; so friendly, helpful and generally lovely, in particular Raoul (always on the ball ensuring everyone is seen to quickly and always with a polite greeting and a smile) and Maria on reception (hopefully I’ve got her name right)! The swimming pool. Our room. The location.

Being super picky but could have done with an area in the shower to place our own items. Also would love to have a better freezer as it wasnt cold enough to make ice, however the bar staff were always happy to provide ice on request.

We arrived to the warmest welcome, shown to our 2 bedroom villa which was stunning! Everything was beautiful and absolute luxury. There was nothing that the staff would not do to help, from booking taxis and restaurants and advising of where was good to go. We booked self catering so only used the poolside bar for 1 snack but it was lovely and the food we saw others getting looked fantastic. The cleaning staff were wonderful. Raul at the poolside bar was superb, and always made sure we got some lovely cocktails, thank you to everyone at Calasuites we will definitely be back to Villa 4 xx

One minor issue was a slight lack of privacy with people on pool loungers virtually right outside our room….we were slightly surprised that the patio doors didn’t have privacy glass. Also the loungers on the patio were 3/4 length so couldn’t fully recline - just surprised they weren’t normal full length ones. None of this is a big deal though as the overall experience was fabulous.

A proper relaxing, luxury resort. Room was modern, clean and spacious. Bottled water provided daily and many different options for breakfast each day.

The Food menu was good but a little small. if you're really into your food you will be heading elsewhere for your meals. thankfully Rubicon Marina is a goldmine of. restaurants.

Pristine, Calming, Elegant, Friendly, 360° views of absolute beauty. I can understand why there is a long list of returning guests. It's a hotel that's completely outside, makes the natural flow, the desert plants intertwined with the corridors and walkways paired with the white stone and large floor to roof windows makes you feel connected to the outside environment.

Beautiful property in a quiet, out of the craziness of Playa Blanca location. Very serene and pristine. Gorgeous pool. Spacious rooms. The breakfast was spectacular. The food at the bar was amazing. We did not eat dinner there, but wish we had. The service was really fabulous. Immaculate rooms and hotel. The value was outstanding. Highly recommend.

A couple of broken bits in the apartment, a bit of attention to detail to the finish of the rooms would be good. Some of the Spa facilities were out of use

The Spa is a bit of a let down. The high price of the hotel is just that little bit prohibitive for many budgets especially for a 7 or 10 night stay.

Wow a really pleasant stay at Cala Lanzarote! An amazingly cool pool with enough room to do lengths but also 20cm shelf allowing you to lie on the half submerged sun loungers. Excellent friendly staff. A chilled adult vibe without forced music or forced entertainment. An ambiance that makes you feel special while you are there. Our room 215 had a stunning view of Papagayo headland and was uncluttered and comfortable. Mary kept it beautifully clean and stocked with large bottles of water. The communal areas are all painted white and kept immaculately clean. You have to wear sunglasses while swimming because of all the reflected sunlight. Passing people stop and stare and take photographs of the pool area every few minutes. That's how nice it is! A great 3 day stay to end our holiday. Thank you to manager and all her staff.

An unexpected oasis in Playa Blanca. Great service, excellent staff and a beautiful location. My wife and I cannot wait to book again. I’ll be keeping this a secret (selfishly) so that there will always be room around you luxurious pool area.

This hotel exceeded our expectations. The location is perfect for a leisurely stroll into the marina. With it being adults only, and only 40 rooms, although it was full, it didn’t feel like it. It was so peaceful. The villa we stayed in was amazing with so much light and outdoor space, and was immaculate. Pool was cleaned daily. The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble.
