Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThe coffee and orange juice were truly awful. The reception staff were pretty dour and unfriendly, unlike the other staff. The public toilet, near reception, was in a horrendous state on Thursday evening.
My daughter loved the buffet breakfast which offered plenty of choice, particularly for those with a sweet tooth. The bed was very comfortable. The view was good, particularly from my son's room. The location was good, both for public transport to the airport (C6) and the station. Shout out to the bar man, the breakfast staff and house maids who were all friendly, smiley and helpful. We were able to leave our luggage on the final day which was very helpful, as was the 1 euro towel hire, although I'm still awaiting the return of my deposit!

United KingdomWe were lucky to have one of the refurbished rooms on the seventh floor. These new rooms have a contactless card entry system. Fortuneately, travelling as a couple, we asked for two cards otherwisewe would have been very inconvienced. We had to have our entry cards replaced FOUR times in a short six day stay. A slightly more sustantial bed cover would have been appreciated. Two thin sheets are OK in the heat but some of the mornings were a bit chilly and not everyone wants to use aircon heat which only blows air out with associated noise.
It was a well run city hotel with helpful and friendly staff. We were lucky to have one of the refurbished rooms on seventh floor with a balcony, a location we could not fault. Open 24hours; essential at fiesta time. There was a vast selection at breakfast of both food & guests. The hotel location right next to the TRAM was perfect.

NetherlandsThe overall state of the hotel is disappointing. It would need a big revamp, all the small details in the room are off or broken, crooked or loose, such as the handle of the doors, the shower faucet, toilet seat, etc. Generally very old building in need of a refurbishment.
The location of hotel is great, close to beach, castle and old town. Breakfast was surprisingly good with loads of choice. Nice bar at the pool and friendly staff.
