Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomOne of the receptionists (a Spanish lady) was very rude with me. I had a problem using my new debit card so I told her I needed to check with the issuer what was happening and she said that she would not try to take the payment with that card again (not sure why). I then asked to speak with someone else and the gentleman was very helpful. I paid with the same card with no issues.
Very good breakfast, the room was clean and comfortable, great location, close to the beach, restaurants and local shops.

Gorgeous location with a view of the mountains/hills and located next to great beaches and other popular destinations in Alicante. Overall a cosy hotel with good quality food being served. Breakfast buffet was also great, with a variety of options. Pool was nice and offered a great view of the hillside.

The only bar in the place was outside by the pool plastic cups and very uncomfortable seating staff at the pool bar were not very nice one guy in Particular very rude and quite ignorant. Ignoring people waiting to be served just standing with back to them chatting a co worker for so long one day that one man left and came back with his own drink purchased at supermarket I can only presume. Beautiful big lounge area inside that would have excellent if a functional bar was open with proper glasses ,No proper bar in the hotel and the tiny one that was just a row of high stools along a wall was never open. The bathroom was clean but decor was shabby and needed attention in places especially around the door..
The location couldn't have been better. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly.

United KingdomOld hotel needing upgrades to rooms which are basic no kettle, coffeee, tea, glasses.The bathroom especially requires modernising, shower basic and old.. Lifts do not stop at 4th floor. Was probably a good hotel many years ago but now way overpriced , i would rate as a three star at a push.
Good location in Spanish community, short metro stop from main square. Comfortable bed and room cleaned daily with fresh towels provided. Good buffet breakfast plenty of choice. Staff friendly .

Lovely spacious room with a balcony, nice decor, spot on clean. Excellent location for the castle and the beach. Bus stop nearby for the airport link and also a tram stop if you fancy wandering to nearby towns, like we did. Tourist city center is a short walk down the promenade. We've been visiting as a couple and would go back with no hesitation.
