The reception and welcome was luke warm. My husband who speaks fluent spanish said the woman spoke so fast he could barely understand her. Not a deal breaker!

The location was great, close to alcatraz n cathedral.Aqueducts and gardens a bit of a,walk but not bad.Room was spacious and clean.There was a local festival the night we stayed so the staff was kind enough to get us a room in the back. We didn't hear any noise. They parked our car and delivered it early the next morning.

Getting there in the car was a bit tricky due to all the one way systems and very narrow roads.

The only negative was the noise from the outside. As mentioned we were on the bottom floor and just outside our window was a small street that was used during the day by many pedestrians and cars, so no siesta during the day but the evenings and nights were very pleasant.

The location was very good, walking distance to many of the sites. Staff was very helpful, answering the many questions we had about Segovia. Did not have breakfast but it looked pretty good. WiFi was very good, we did not have any problems. We were given a room on the bottom floor just around the lobby, which was good size and surprisingly quite.

The breakfast room was very small so was necessary to book a time slot the night before.

The bedroom was big, bright, clean, well decorated & had a huge, comfortable bed. The location was brilliant being in the main square of the old town. It was possible to walk to all the 'sites' & there were plenty of bars & restaurants in the area. Being able to reserve valet parking with the hotel was ideal.

We arrived quite late (11pm) only to find that the on site car park was closed. This meant having to negotiate. the one way system to find the underground car park. It wasn't a major problem but not what we really need or expected after flying into Madrid and then driving straight to Segovia.

The location was perfect, right on Plaza Major. As we were only in Segovia for one night this was just what we needed. The room was comfortable, a decent size and had a great view over the square. We paid extra for breakfast which was pretty good as well.

Have stayed in past and therefore remember the delightful restaurant/breakfast room that is now a shop( albeit a very good shop). - so, we were disappointed in that. Breakfast was not such a nice experience. Otherwise, very good.

Absolutely perfect setting on the most beautiful cobbled pedestrian square overlooked by the Cathedral, with streets leading off to anywhere you would want to go. Peaceful sleep with only the sound of bells. Exceptional, helpful staff always on site to assist. I loved my stay, Barbara Australia

Didn't like the shower. Couldn't figure out how to turn on all those spray buttons. The rain shower head cannot be lowered or adjusted and I didn't want to get my hair wet. Staff should explain how to use the shower. Maybe provide written instructions in the room

A lovely hotel in a great position. So close to bars, restaurants, shops. Cathedral view from our room, just perfect. A short walk , downhill, to the aqueduct (but obviously uphill for the return trip), but plenty to see on the way back. Our room was lovely, tea/coffee making facilities, mini fridge. Comfortable beds. Bathroom had a lovely walk in shower, toiletries available. View to the plaza and cathedral. Staff were very pleasant, valet parking. We didn't opt for breakfast as we like to eat out and explore.

My position at breakfast wasn't the best. I should have asked for another table. My fault...my Spanish is really limited. The hostess was simply trying to find a place that was free.

Especially: Azucena.....help with the adaptor, understanding how to find simple services (like fruit) Generally gracious and warm welcome. I had just flown from the U S, had some challenges getting into Madrid and onto the train. It was a huge relief to be so comfortable with her quest to help with whatever! The location is outstanding. I enjoyed walking around the piazza before breakfast. It was a nice, varied breakfast. I was pleased it is offered and felt it was a solid value. The kettle and tea is a fine plus!

I had a first floor room, shame about the low ceilings and windows as the view of the plaza is obscured, which isn’t what is shown in the photos when booking.
