no amenities at all, not even a kettle to boil water. The door knob at the shower was broken. the shower head was broken. not enough English channels on the TV.

Excellent location, lovely decor, felt very comfortable and right at home. Very quiet, and our room had a lovely little balcony. Often leftover pastries and apples available for guests as they come and go. Would absolutely stay again.

I wish there was a restaurant and room service available in the hotel. Especially on the cold and rainy nights when I was looking for dinner. I was also given a blanket that was dirty and had brown stuff on it. Also it would have been nice to have water and a mini bar in the room.

The hotel's elevator is very strange. It takes forever to get it going up unless you are on floor 0. There seems to be two components of the elevator. When one goes to the top floor, it stays there while the other below where you are keeps going down. So people waiting in the mid levels keep waiting until someone in top floor or bottom floor gets one of them going.

We booked a deluxe room, which is on top of the floor with balcony. It's very nice and clean. Everything works. Staffs were helpful and friendly. The breakfast is very nice. We like the convenience of the location; every major sightseeing is in walking distance. There are also lots of good restaurants nearby.

Front rooms are VERY noisy. I am not fussy but windows felt like they had no soundproofing at all (nonstop noise of cars and buses passing by, pedestrians speaking loudly, ambulance and police sirens), no way to sleep without noise cancelling. Having researched other hotels in Gran Via I believe this is a shared problem in the area and not specific to Ikonik, so for anyone concerned about noise I would advise booking a room elsewhere or making 100% sure you get a room in the back. Points to the hotel staff who very kindly allowed to switch to a room facing the back at 3am, where it was quiet.

To have coffee and tea in the room would have been nice. The price was a little on the high side.

The hotel is on the main street in the theatre district and so you are never far away from the shops, bars, restaurants and of course theatres. The street itself is busy (even non peak times of the year) but cars are restricted to electric vehicles most of the day and so the car noise is generally reduced. The views from the rooms are great and the funky decorations are style of the hotel are really cool! The room was also fairly spacious and with a super comfy bed. The staff were helpful and cleaners were great.

Great location. WiFi works well. Located right on the Gran Vía where all the shops are. Lots of options to do around there. It also has an elevator which helps if you have luggage.

I had contacted the property prior to my stay to ask for a street view and also to have something special in the room for my boyfriends birthday and they delivered! We had such a lovely stay and the hotel interior was gorgeous and comfortable. We had the most stunning view of Gran Via

there was no ramp to get the luggage up the steps to the reception area. it is a bit challenging with you have heavy luggage bags.

location was very convenient and had good access to the bus station and to shops. easy to direct taxis to. staff were super welcoming and accommodating to my needs. very safe.

It is strange that no have nice lobby. I mean the entrance is weird if you compare how beautiful the building is outside. Actually the decoration is rare, pink 😝.
