Street outside is noisy and there are cafes and bars right underneath and the room is not well sound proofed for street noise. Get an interior room if not wanting to be disturbed.

Friendly staff, amazing location, safe. A few minutes walk to Sol metro makes it very convenient.

Clean and very conveniently located. The room was very oddly arranged and very small- the rooms in the top floor seem to have odd configurations. Couldn’t see anything at all from the window because the window high and set into the roof, basically. The bed was literally just beside the door and the door seemed to have no internal double lock. I arrived promptly at 14:00 for check in and it required a degree of insistence ti be given a double bed (as pre-requested) rather than two singles. Since check in was at 14:00 I was surprised that both options were not automatically available. Breakfast was decent and the breakfast area actually much nicer than the rest of the hotel!

Staff gave conflicting information about laundry service. Room was dark, awkwardly laid out and next to elevator. Large groups of teenagers crowding the lobby and breakfast room every day.

The fact that booking.com used an incorrect address for the property. We spent 30 minutes searching for the address only to call the hotel and find the correct address should be 4, Calle Victoria!!

Fabulous central location. Hotel very clean. Staff very helpful. Possibly a little noisy - bars and restaurants in the street directly below. We quite liked that - we had a balcony and it added some atmosphere - but some might find the noise intrusive.

No kettle available, therefore no tea or coffee in the room. Very pocky room. No TV channels available apart from two Spanish ones. Staff on front desk could definitely be friendlier. The doors to the small balcony did not seal completely closed & allowed the very loud noises at night to filter inside the room. The streets below are very noisey with people all night, one night until 5:30am.

Very plain, blah. When we checked in, they gave us what must be the worst room in the hotel. It was nothing like what I booked nor what was in the photos. Spoke to the gentleman at the front desk who first said they were sold out then said they have several people who checked out so they wont have rooms ready for awhile and said we checked in early so that’s why we got the room they originally gave us. Mind you, they didn’t say a word about this nor give us a choice when we first got there. Nonetheless, they said they would have a few rooms ready within about 30mins and would call our room. After over an hour, I went to the desk and they said they didn’t have any rooms as they just had a bunch of people checking in. I said well we were here before them and reminded them they were supposed to call us. To that he said well the people who checked in all had issues so he gave them the rooms. He said he called housekeeping and the only room available had no water nor electricity. Hmm!!! That’s seemed weird and highly unlikely. We asked them to please continue working on a replacement room while we are out. Came back, nope, still in the worst room. I spoke to the gal who was there now and she said there weren’t any rooms. When I said they were supposed to keep working on this while we were out and the room we got is not at all like I reserved, she was great and looked up their rooms found one that was available and moved us. The new room was overall what was pictured online and had a balcony too like it was supposed to. We were happy the room fiasco was over. Another strange thing happened though, when we came down in the morning, the first guy we were working with was back on duty. He looked over at me and I him. I smirked as a kind of “hey, we got our room, no help to you”. He didn’t like that even though it was in a joking way. He then handed us the to go bags they had ready for us as we had to check out prior to the breakfast we were supposed to get.
