I requested the use of an electric iron. When it arrived, I discovered it was in a dangerous condition. The electric cord was worn down to its inner insulation. With signs of further stress, and about to reveal LIVE wires! This iron is a safety hazard, and should be removed from service.

The food was very good, and the staff were very hard-working in the restaurant. The staff at the reception were also very good and very friendly.

The evening buffet meal could have been heated better with warm plates & stronger hear above the 'warm' food. There was very little variety from night to night.

Location & price. Good, English speaking,friendly staff. Next to golf course. Lovely scenic setting & buildings. Nice pool if a little cold.

I don't know what I didn't like. Some Spanish people are very surley. They don't seem to like tourists. Sadly.

Where to begin, we spent one night here as a stop over before checking into our main property. As mentioned in other reviews this property is very run down, beds are old and very uncomfortable, rooms come across as dirty, however being that they are so old and run down I am not sure one would ever get the feeling they are clean. One coffee machine for a whole hotel expect a line every morning 5-10 min. Outside property alarm went off in the middle of the night took hours for someone to shut it off. Many people awake and upset. This entire property needs a major face lift! Would not stay again

This properties biggest asset is the pool. It’s very large, clean and well taken care of. We spent lots of our stay enjoying it. Only tip is there isn’t a lot of shade maybe some umbrellas would be nice. Especially with young children in your group, there is only one large tree to put some chairs under. Breakfast was ok nothing special

The location from our balcony overlooking the pool had really beautiful views. The breakfast was perfect, wonderful choice. Only comment there was just one hot drinks machine.

No bar service until 8pm . Hot food in evening meal buffet was not hot enough …and that was at opening time! (The lady who worked there was lovely though.)

Pool was fabulous ! Our room was large with an enormous balcony area so really like it. Also very good fridge in room and excellent A/Con. Lovely views from room and as hotel was not too busy there was a peaceful vibe overall .

The hotel is quite old and lacks many details that one would expect from a 4 star place. No freezer in the room or water or kettle with a couple of tea bags . Keys are large and you need to give it to reception every time you leave the place. No electric socket near the desk , not talking about usb charger. Haven;t seen anyone playing golf on the field either .

Tired place. Some room features do not work. Shower diverter did not work so... Buffet dinner made my stomach churn all night. A glass of wine was out of this world bad. Should have known better. Other food alternatives hard to come by with walking distnce.

Rooms lack cozy décor. Bathroom shower operation was somewhat tricky. Coffee machine in breakfast need replacement. There is always line up and quality of coffee was not good. Windows need replacement or fixing. they made of wood and wood needs maintenance.

Firstly we have stayed before, because it has an absolutely stunning pool and surrounds with amazing countryside views and have been extremely happy. The location/setting is without doubt one of the best of 'a back from the Beach' Hotel location on the Costa Brava. However the time has come for the owners to put some effort into the whole building and upgrade it substantially to another level otherwise despite the location it will go further down. This is a business worth upgrading given the location. We were not entirely impressed with the buffet approach which is new and needs bring up a level to be successful. With the market recovering as we go forward I would have thought further investment would be worth considering please.

I think the hotel should change its small attributes inside the room, like a camel blanket which I believe was used for the last 100 years, the coffee machine that can produce a drinkable coffee, and hair dryer that are making hair dry but not just a noise pretending to work.

At the pension house the only fresh was Ricardo Also there was a nice swimming pool, there were the party 70+ however we were accepted with my friend
