the neighbourhood is a little bit sketchy

The rooftop pool and bar were amazing!! it’s really big. When i saw the pictures online I was afraid there was no place to lay down and to get tan, but there were a lot of sunbeds. The food and drinks at the bar were also really nice and even late at night it was still open

The value of 4 nights was to high, haven’t seen a huge difference compared with other hotels.

Whilst this isn’t a review about the hotel, it was a little far out of the centre we had to get the metro, tram or taxi into where we wanted to be or walk 55 minutes to the centre.

Lovely hotel, very clean and good facilities. Rooftop pool & bar was a nice touch.

Air conditioning took a long time to cool the room but eventually did work. Quite far out from most focal points of the city which meant we did a lot of travelling, but its doable. A nice 25 min walk to the beach though which is lovely.

Lovely, spacious rooms. Very clean! Comfy bed (quite firm mattress which I prefer). Very friendly staff and quick check in process. We had an issue with leaking air conditioner on our last night and staff were quick to resolve the issue and move us to a new room right away. 25 min walk from the beach. 10 mins from nearest metro.

The location is a bit far out so taxis are required, and although there is a taxi rank in front of the hotel there is no guarantee there will be one when you need it so pre booking is necessary

The only lack is water. Hotel based in quiet hot city. I thought that hotel would provide small bottles of water for free. But it isn’t.

Very friendly guys on the reception desk. They helped us with late check out. Generally, our stay was so comfortable and we’re completely satisfied.

Our room wasn’t cleaned properly with the previously guests hair stuck to the floor (the room had just been mopped!) in both the bedroom and the bathroom! The towels weren’t great quality and the bedding was very crisp - not pleasant on sunburn 🤣 The temperature in the shower was difficult to fix to something that didn’t take off the top layer of sunburned skin. I didn’t like the smell of the products in the room (shower gel and hair washing!) but we had our own anyway! Bathroom door didn’t close properly swinging in both directions… our toilet and sink were both cracked.

This hotel was lovely! The rooftop pool and bar are amazing… pool towels are available from the main reception downstairs… Views were lovely too…. The club sandwich was delicious! Aircon worked well… albeit old, it worked! Staff were friendly and polite. Live saxophonist on the rooftop terrace was a lovely touch… This hotel is a bus/metro ride from the centre of Barcelona… but that was exactly what I wanted. 10 minute walk to the beach and there is a shopping mall very close also.

The only thing is the service could be very slow sometimes. The rooftop could get very busy and with only 1 member of staff working at the bar you could be waiting 15+ minutes for a drink.

The reception/rooms were really modern and clean. There was good aircon in the rooms and the beds were comfy.

The decoration in the rooms. You could see how things were pretty old. Same with some furniture at the pool (e.g., sunbeds)

Not secured. We had a backpack stolen within 10 minutes we arrived at the hotel. Hotel has a camera in the lobby,but no security. Theft is a problem in Europe.

The location is really out of the city. There is minimal around the hotel and I had to catch taxis everywhere. I couldn’t pop back to change or refresh. It’s a shame because the note really was lovely. I had a room on the first floor which seemed to have this weird metal mesh thing outside the windows which stopped all views. I’d request a room on a higher level if I ever stayed again. I did ask to change but unfortunately the hotel was booked out so couldn’t.

All the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Very welcoming. The property was clean. The roof top bar and pool were lovely with beautiful views. Breakfast was delicious with a large variety of foods which was regularly being refreshed. I’d suggest adding this on when booking as it works out cheaper, I didn’t but ended up having it everyday. Beds were comfy and rooms clean. I also managed to get late check out at €10 ph.

A little far from the centre, but accessible via public transport. No parking there. Can be noisy at night when people get home late.

Comfy bed and great sized room, nice bathroom and facilities. Lovely lobby and bars. Friendly staff that made sure to accommodate requests. Overall great place to spend a birthday trip!
