I did not like the bed assignment. When I came back in a late night, I found someone sleeping on my bed. I was clearly told about my bed when the staff showed me around. Unfortunately, a night reception could not speak English. I was eventually was to sleep with a used bed linen and chose the bunkbed. I’d blame the that guest too. It was a shame that the bed was clearly made by me and all the new customer would receive the bed sheet to make your own bed. Finally, I got one helpful Spanish roommate helping me communicate with the lady and got a new bedsheet. At least, the bed should have some status symbols whether it was occupied or not. I was gonna ask for a refund or even find a new hotel because I was too tired for things like this. Although everything was sorted out, it was a shame with a poor management and an unlucky guest.

Located in the city center, it’s convenient since it’s connected with metro and buses. Everything was clean. towel was provided.

Location wise is super convenient, especially if you want to explore the nightlife. You will be very close to soooooo many places to eat, drink and socialize. And Gran Via is not that far away, if you want to get a evening/night stroll to enjoy the city lights. In general, I had a pleasant and quite stay. I had to wake up early in the morning next day, so I was put in a room with only one person, so I was able to sleep well, without being disturbed. Usually, you pay a deposit, which is being returned to you during the check-out, but in my case I didn't have to do that due to my early morning leave, so thanks for that. There is enough space in the rooms, so you don't feel cramped. There is a common space, but to be honest doesn't seem too much inviting, but it does its job. Overall, good hostel which I can recommend, if you are looking to stay on a budget nearby the places in Madrid.

The staff were very friendly. The location is great: it's only 2 blocks from a metro station (Estación Tribunal) and the Cibeles-to-Adolfo Suárez Madrid–Barajas Airport bus stop is an easy 20-minute walk. Unfortunately the bedroom faces a very busy street (Calle de Fuencarral) so lots of noises at all times including past 2 AM. So needless to say, it kept me awake way past my normal 10 PM sleeping time. My roommates were just great. We got along fine. The lockers near the bathroom feel a lot safer. There is plenty of shelf space in the sleeping quarters. The common area (cocina/comedor/sala) is comfy. I like the fact that the shower stalls (las duchas) is private with a few pegs for a towel & clothes, a shower mat & a stool. No issues with the hot water.

Although the location is good, it is not the best if you want to rest. The area was extremely noisy and you need to keep the balcony open to have some air. The blanket had a strange small but the linen were clean

I hardly slept during my two days in Madrid. There was too much noise outside. And with a single glazed window, it was impossible to fell asleep. So prepare your earplugs before coming. Besides, there was three-times power cuts during my stay. And the remote control of the air-conditioner has to be rented and used by the staff, which means the temperature of the air-conditioner can not be changed by the guests.

During the night the balconydoors to the street stayed open, which for me is no problem and Im sure they could be closed as there is airconditioning in the room.

This place is in an extremely populated area, so it’s very noisy at night. We had aircon in our room but no remote, so had to sleep with the doors and windows open which we heard every person below. The showers were not hot also.

Good location and lockers to secure your belongings. Staff were very accomodating.

Terrible beds that move a lot and are very uncomfortable. Also the overall property is very old hte furniture is cheap. I tried to have a bath 3 times never having hot water which I find insane. Overall I don't suggest your stay.
