Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

PortugalThe apartment was on the second floor and it is missing an elevator, so it can be challenging to bring your suitcases.
The apartment is very good! THe location is amazing, the bed comfortable and there is a TV to watch movies/series. Enjoy the coffee for breakfast on the balcony!

RussiaEverything was good.
Hostal Navarra is a good place to stay in Pampolna. It has a great locaton - walking distance from the Old Town, but not in the touristic overcrowded street. It is also a minute walk from El Corte Ingles. The room was quite big, bed - comfy. There's also a capsule coffemachine. Downstairs, there is a bar where you can have coffee or else to drink.

United StatesThe only issue I had was that I never received an email with the codes to check in. But I called the contact person via WhatsApp and he answered and let me in immediately and got me a key. He was very nice. I was walking the Camino and it is a little bit off the trail, so keep that in mind on you are also a peregrino. But it’s not too far and easy to get back on the trail.
Management was great and helped me print some luggage tags. The room was very clean and I loved having a little balcony. The a/c was also a life saver as it was a very hot day.

Israel-The floor makes noises every time you step on it. -The bathroom, and especially the shower, is very small. -Only four channels on TV.
-The location is central - close to the ciudadela, to Plaza del Castillo and also to the bus stop. -We received the room before check-in time which was really nice and helped us a lot. -The complimentary coffee and chocolate was a nice surprise! -AC and a ceiling fan was on spot. -Comfortable bed. -Cute balcony in the room.

United StatesThe online self check-in didn't work smoothly. It wouldn't recognize a photo of my passport on my iPhone and was a pain to do manually. I found this a definite drawback in the experience.
We spent one night there and found it very good. The location is central and close to the bus station, restaurants and old city. The beds were comfortable. The room was a bit tight, but adequate. We had breakfast at the bar on the corner outside the hotel.

SwedenNo good with only virtual check-in for normal arraiving time. Often hard to get massage from Booking. A lot of spam. We are not connecting all the time when travelling. The shower was very small. Expensive parking.
