Difficult to find the actual lobby. Used outside door ringer, which we were told was not the right number, and the lobby was on the 1st floor. The lobby/room was on the 4th floor with no clear signs indicating this. I temporarily misplaced my phone, and could not access the online chat to contact the hotel. THe phone number that was listed on the reservation that I printed out, spoke only Spanish and we were hung up on multiple times (even when trying to communicate in Spanish). Were able to locate the room when I confirmed the address with the store employee next door, and running up the stairs looking for any indication of the location of the hotel.

Once we were able to locate the room, the location was great, centrally located to mulitple Metro lines. The on site staff member was accomadating and helpful. Basic room with an attached bathroom.

The shower was leaking out, cause it's just a shower curtain which doesn't fit too well, but hey, not a big thing. If they had luggage storage to keep our bags for the day (evening flight) would've been great.

All we needed for a single night before our flight from Madrid. Got a lift, good size room, location was perfect for the xmas lights and getting around the centre.

Floor varied in hieght and this was unexpected and unwelcome. Lighting in hallways and common spaces on time that needed to stay on slightly longer to give one time to unlock door etc.

Post hours access instructions were accurate. Facilities were as expected with the closed in protruding enclosed balcony quite nice considering weather seving as a mini sun-room. Staff was helpful in recommending cafe for breakfast and location close to other eating places.

It was small with no cooking facilities.. but it was a hostal as described and perfect for exploring Madrid. First time in Madrid, and Reina Sofia and Prado both amazing.

The door to the washroom wasnt a rocksolid door that I am used to.

When you are in a city like Madrid only for a day, this is the perfect stay location. Everything is walking distance right from the bustling area of sol to the palace, you can cover everything on foot and occasionally return to the room to catch a breath.

There is no sign for the hostel outside so I was lost trying to find the place when I arrived at the address. The owners should really add some sign over the door that says Hostel Meyra.
