We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United KingdomHostal staff wanted to keep our passports till the next day until the receptionist come in at 9am - not professional at all taking away documents from the guests. Two single beds were in the room, but each one was different size and high. The bed with the wooden frame was quite comfortable, but the one with the metal frame was bent in the middle and not comfortable to sleep at all.
The room comes with the aircon, but the temperature and fan speed could not be adjusted. However any kind of aircon is good when the temp outside is over 30. Breakfast was simple but very tasty. Funny way how the bathroom was renovated- looks like the builder meant to come back the next day to finish the job but never did.

United KingdomRoom hadn’t been cleaned on arrival and staff needed constant reminders to clean it. Cigarette butts in the bin despite it being a non smoking room, beers in the bathroom, dirty bed sheets and contact lenses left in the bed. Felt very unwelcome and as if we were not wanted there. Given the stay cost over £600 or €700 for not even a week it was laughably poor service. Do better.

IrelandWe were looking for a hotel for a long time. We were immediately sent to another hostel 30 km from Gami. The reason is blurry. They said that all the conditions that we had booked would be provided. But we were denied breakfast. There was no soap or shampoo in the room.

Czech RepublicThe room was infested with cockroaches, broken floors and really dirty overall. The staff was arrogant and not helpful with anything. We had to stay the night in a different hotel. Breakfast was like 3/10 - you could eat but everything looked dirty. Detail: Our room was infested with cockroaches. They just kept on coming, one after the other. I repeatedly came to the reception asking for either a new room or my money back. The receptionist said they don’t have any money there so l asked them to call the hotel manager- to which they replied they don’t have the number. The receptionist just kept going on about how cockroaches are completely normal and that there's nothing they can do for me. The receptionist just told me to contact booking as there apparently is nothing they can do and 20 cockroaches in a room are completely normal. Update: I found a different hotel at 10pm by luck. I came there and asked straight up if that many cockroaches in a room is normal - they said its normal for maybe 1 to appear during the entirety of the holiday because of the warm weather - so 20+ cockroaches is not normal. I came back to the Gami Hotel to let the receptionist know that they need to do something- either give me a refund or give me a contact to the supervisor- which they claimed they couldn’t. Overall horrible experience, terrible attitude from the staff, disgustingly dirty rooms (our friends got a huge case of mould in theirs and the receptionist also told them it’s normal and that she can’t do anything for them). THIS IS 10X WORSE THAN SLEEPING OUTSIDE- WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO MY WORST ENEMY. NEVER AGAIN. -10000/10 (doesn’t deserve any star but it won’t let me post if i don’t select some stars)

Great value, very friendly and helpful staff, great amenity, perfect location, we love the breakfast and having a balcony in the room. Great air conditioned room as well. Easy check-in/ check-out process.

PortugalWe never got to stay at this place, they overbooked it. They made us wait over 1 hour to check in, just to end up saying they didn't have a room for us. They said they booked us another hotel within a 5 minutes walking distance, which was fine for us. However, after spending the first night at this other hotel, we were told by the staff that we had to leave. So we packed our stuff again, went back to hostal Gami and they offered us another hotel, which they said was a "10 minutes drive" and a "much nicer hotel and beach". We accepted their offer (I was working remotely, so really couldn't stay without a hotel room much longer) only to later realize the place was actually 25 minutes away. We had plans to go out to a nightclub in Cala Ratjada, but the new hotel was so far that it made it impossible. And we couldn't find anywhere to go out near that hotel either because it was in an area of families/retired people. Anyways, hostal Gami is the epitome of disorganisation and I would not recommend it at all
