The plumbing is unbelievably noisy, when other people flush the toilet or use the shower it literally sounds like water is about to gush through the ceiling. It’s so loud it woke us up. Also the windows don’t close tightly, the noise from outside was so loud it kept us awake. There were people screaming and arguing in other buildings and it was so loud we couldn’t sleep. Everything else was brilliant, but if you can’t sleep it ruins everything. My daughter was so tired from being woken up through the night that we had to sleep in until midday both days- so didn’t get out sightseeing in the mornings which was disappointing.

Fantastic location 1 min walk from Las Ramblas, 2 min walk from Liceu metro station and La Boqueria market, 5 min walk from La Palais de Musica and Barcelona Cathedral, 10 min walk from Passaig de Gràcia and Casa Battlo&Casa Mila. Very clean, the bathroom was brand new and immaculate, the bedroom was spacious and freshly decorated, staff were helpful and lent us a hairdryer.

Old furniture, not very comfortable bed.

I really liked the location. Although I read comments about the noise at night, if we closed the window, we could not hear it. That's why we tolerate it. It was cleaned regularly and everything was sufficient for living. At the reception, you could ask for a kettle, hairdryer and iron, as well as leave products in the fridge. Round-the-clock check-in, friendly staff, and we were offered to leave things before check-in.

If you travel with big lugadge, it is hard to get the room, because you have to pass several stairs. The elevator only goes until the 3rd floor. It is perfect for short stayings! However if you have fisical problems, it ca be difficult to reach the room.

Great location. Staff were always available and helpful. It’s great to have a lounge, place to store luggage, fridge, etc. Other guests were respectful and quiet. The room was comfortable and clean.

The hostel overall wasn't the cleanest, but if you don't mind a few dust bunnies hopping around, it's fine. The walls are super thin, so it's not for light sleepers.

The location was great, everything easily accessible from the hostel. It's nice that despite it being a hostel, you can book a room with 2 beds at a good price, it affords more privacy. There is also a sink in the room, which is quite handy.

The window blind was faulty and sometimes wouldn't close. Online Check in was confusing as it wouldn't show us if it was successful and ask for more document info but also showed a green tick mark.

We were given a better room than expected - with private bathroom. We could leave the luggage before check in and after check in. Staff was helpful with check in.

The room is simple but has air conditioning, the location is great, in town center. After my check out I was able to leave my suitcase so I could enjoy the day. They left my suite case in a locked room, which made me very satisfied.

There was a balcony in the room, but it was locked. Not having glasses and cups to drink water and make coffee made the experience slightly worse, and it's such a small detail that the accommodation can afford.

Great price for the amazing location, was very basic but confortable and clean.

It wasn't an issue for us but could be noisy at times. Needs more space (shelves!) and charger points - there wasn't any free connector, we had to unplug the TV so we could charge our phones.

Look, it's a hostel. You take a shower after a long day exploring the city and hit the bed. If you want to stay in the hotel all day long, enjoy the pool or the gym this is not your place. If you want a reasonably priced room in the middle of the city, walking distance from the main landmarks than this is your place. Staff was friendly, they even printed out our boarding pass. Rooms are adequate but bit basic but clean, could use more shelves.

Too short bed, noise of renovation works in the morning. Shared shower is dirty. A bit difficult to find room due to unlogical layout.

Great location in the Gothic quarter! Easily accessible to subway stations and the staff were very friendly. Great price for the location! Rooms were basic but comfortable.

The bathroom is not the best, it looks old and not so clean. But it was all good for one night.

The room itself was surprisingly good compared to the other part of the hostel.

Bottom sheet felt like it was made for a single bed as it didn’t reach the edge/not fitted so would always fall off the bed and you would end up on the mattress protector.

Great location, easy to access beach/port. Metro super close by. Staff super friendly, the lift was broken when we arrived and the guy at the front desk carried my bag up to the third floor for me so we found that super lovely. 24/7 staff at the front desk. Room was serviced everyday, bed remade and bathroom restocked with toilet paper /towels.

The bathroom was very small. The area transferring between 3rd and 4th floors was fairly dark at night. The room was slightly cramped.

The hostal was located close to a few locations and the subway. The night afternoon manager was nice as he carried out 2 suitcases up to our room, 3 floors up, as the elevator had broke down. The bed was comfortable.
