Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Location, near Atocha’s train station and the Express airport bus. Just sleep one night waiting for our early morning flight. Clean, modern style, any issues.

United KingdomThe lighting system in the room was a little confusing. It would have been useful to have a separate light in the dark corner with the table and the high shelf.
The room was slightly more expensive than we would have wished for but it was clean and very comfortable, with all the facilities we needed (it was really nice to have a kettle in the room, the safe was also very useful). Very easy to check in online and to access the building / room using the keypads. The staff at reception were very friendly and accommodating (multilingual as well). Perfect location for the Atocha train station, the Prado museum and the Buen Retiro park. We would definitely consider staying there again.

United KingdomCC Atocha was a perfect location to explore the city of Madrid. The beautiful Parque del Buen Retiro was a 10 minute walk away, and there was a Metro station close by ( Estacion del Arte) for going further afield. The room itself was more than adequate - it was extremely clean and tidy ( free daily cleaning service available), with good shower, and air con. Check-out was not until midday, and we were allowed to then leave our luggage in reception until it was time to go to the airport. The staff were very friendly, and helpful. I would love to return to Madrid one day, and I wouldn't hesitate to stay at CC Atocha again.

SingaporeNot that I didn't like it, but room was rather small, but that's fine. European style sort of lift (max 2 people with 2 luggages and you have to open and close the door of the lift yourself) - but that's manageable...at least there was a lift!
Receptionist at hand to help us with questions when we arrived. Immediate attention when aircon went wonky. And Clean!! Super near Atocha station and de la arte - well connected.

Has nothing to do with Attocha but is a real sanitary problem which should be solved asap in the building, for your own image.********* .
General good stay without problems and good quality/price ratio. But one major remark ***. concerning general pest control mentioned hereafter that could harm the hostal image, although it’s outside your hostal.
