We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

GermanyVery friendly staff! Even though we changed our plans last minute, they approved the refund for the nights we didn't stay. Nice breakfast. The room was clean. The location is a bit in the middle of nowhere but good if you are passing by and looking for a place to spend your night.

SpainThin walls - room a bit noisy, especially in the morning. Hot water took a while to reach my (2nd floor) room.
Located in a small quiet street. Clean, comfortable reasonable size room. Easy parking adjacent to the hostal. Good wi-fi. There is a very good bar and restaurant (under the same management) opposite the hostal which opens early for a cheap basic breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Easy to park free on the adjacent street. Breakfast is available 5 to 10 AM. Dinner was very good value for the price. No traffic noise. Very nice personnel.

Check-in lady was friendly, connected restaurant has a cheap and tasty menu. Room had good AC and good value for money.

Clean and functional. Picked because it was just off the main road on our journey to Southern Spain. People friendly. Couldn't understand the menu. No English translation, and Google translate couldn't understand it either 'Handyman in sauce!!'

SpainThe walls were a bit thin, but no problem. No-one was there to greet us on arrival and we had to wait outside for a while for someone to come and check us in. We arrived on a Sunday, and there was nowhere to eat - the café/restaurant was closed. We had to get back in the car and find the beach (about 10 mins drive).
This hostal is exceptional value for money. Very pleased with the stay, although we were only there one night. The whole place was very clean - oh, and I could get English TV too! The bed was very comfortable and the air-con a Godsend.

ItalyHostel in a nice small village. They offer also bar and restaurant services. The place is clean and cozy and the staff is very nice and helpful. However the hostel is very close to the centre, it's easy to park the car along the streets near the building.

SpainEntire floor STANK of cigarette smoke on arrival, basically it´s used by contractors working at local factories, quarries etc, so from 6 AM quite a lot of noise as they get up and leave, also went to use the restaurant, 2 waitress´s one South American run off her feet, the other Local didn,t seem interested, saw he take her mask off sneeze into hand and replace mask, we waited and waited, the only time we were acknowledged was when we moved nearer to the bar in the hope of getting someone's attention SNEEZY then made a big drama removing table cloth from the previous table...We stood up, and LEFT!

Belgium- the cleaning staff stepped in while we were still in the room - you can hear everything from the neighbouring rooms - not much light in the room
- staff was flexible with late check in, but it is advisable to check that in advance - Paco bar in front of the hotel is just perfect for breakfast - staff was kind to advice about the local restaurants

I arrived on my motorbike... the manager helped me to find a good place to park and changed my room to one with a balcony that offered a good view on the bike. I didn't need to ask! There were no vegetarian meals on the menu so the kitchen happily made a vegi meal and they charged a fair price. Really welcoming and creative team.

UkraineThe staff of this hotel does not have an iron for ironing clothes, this is not important, but I will write it down as a minus. You can also hear neighbors, but it doesn't influence to a good sleep at big bed.
It was great trip to Chilches and i was happy to meet and stay at Hostal Casa Paco. All places in room was clean, every day staff make a bed, air conditioner working rather good. Also, this Hostal have good location, 3 minutes to get to railway station, have own restaurant. I'm definitely ready to return to same this Casa Paco.

EstoniaRoom was old and smell was awful. Also walls were paper thin - we were woken up by drunk group of people in 6.21am. they were laughing, singing and other ways loud. Also there was awful sigaret smell in the room by morning. I would not recommend that place to anyone. Thank god we were only transiting. Bed was not the most comfortable.
We were met by very friendly person. in the room there was clean bedding and shower gel and soap. Also TV with many channels. Grocery store was 10 minute walk away. Hotel restaurant offered a "day menu" - would not recommend that also. Wifi worked ok.
