Hotel location (shops, beach, train station, proximity to Barcelona), excellent staff (always on site, always ready to help, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week). Definitely a recommendation to friends.

Thin walls, you can hear your neighbors, so it can be a problem if you have noise neighbors

Very nice place, clean, comfortable beds, friendly staff, not far from beach and tram station, next to a supermarket. Rooms were cleaned daily, fresh towes daily, pretty good breakfast, not crowdy in september. We had a great stay, it can be counted as hotel.

The breakfast is well equipped with the pastries, cold cuts, drinks, etc.. However, I would have been very happy about vegetables, such as pickles and tomatoes.

I was in Calella to participate in the Ironman competition. Hostal Bonavista was my accommodation. I especially liked the friendly and helpful staff. In addition, I found the rooms very comfortable and clean. I was able to bring my bike to the 2nd floor without problems despite the narrow staircase and park it on the balcony. Price-performance ratio and the location of Hostal Bonavista are top. To the beach no 10 minutes walk. Large shopping store right around the corner. Highly recommended!

There were very noisy neighbors in the nearest "party" house. Big thanks to the hotel staff, we were moved to a room on the other side of the hotel.

Small hotel with clean rooms, sea is 5 minutes away, there is a Consum supermarket around the corner, 5 minutes from the main street, 10 minutes from the train station, the night bus from Barcelona stops 2 minutes from the hotel.Very friendly and helpful staff.

The only minus is that there is no elevator as this is a small hotel,so it can be challenging for people who have a lot of stuff or have young kids if they are carrying a stroller. Anyway, if you indicate this as a special note for them when you are booking the place, I believe they will do their best to give you a room on lower floor.

The place is run by family,they are all very professional, friendly, and welcoming. It is very close to the beach, and generally, the place looks as described. It is one of the cheapest places in the area,but this family runs the business on a high level. We had an issue with the air conditioner on the day we arrived. However, it was fixed within a few hours.

Lack of lift and pool. My own fault as I didn't research the hotel well before booking. Besides that, the hotel was faultless.

The staff were exceptional and helpful. Breakfast was lovely and the room was both clean and spacious. The main issue for me was that there was no lift and I was on the 3rd floor and as I have a bad knee, this was not the best for me. However, they offered to move me downstairs once a room became free. so as I say, extremely helpful staff.

Place is very convenient, with all the services needed for longer stays as well. The terrace of our room was spacious and the neighborhood dynamic but not noisy. Cleaness is on the highest level and breakfast options are good enough and affordable. The "pedestrian zone" with shops, markets and restaurants is reacable on foot (5 minutes). Beach is not far away and reachable easily by foot. Staff is super nice and helpful.

The doors could use changing as they are old and make noise when being open( it's ok during the day, but at night if the person isn't carefull they might wake others up). Also a small fridge in the room would be helpful as we had to always buy cold water once every 2-3 hours (lucky shops are close). The walls are a bit thin and if the people next door are not respectful you might end up hearing everything they talk (especially at night), but the staff can help you if that happens (the rule is between 11 pm and 6 am there has to be complete silence) - if you call them they will sort it out.

The room was perfect in size for us (2 adults and 1 child). We had a doulble bed with a single, 2 nightstands, a wardrobe and a TV (paid 10 euros deposit for the remote which I got back when we left the hotel). The bathroom was big with a shower(that fitted 2 PEOPLE AT THE SAME TIME), sink and toilet, plus a towel rack righ under the window (loved the fact they had a window so we could leave it open after taking a shower). We also had air conditioning and a small balcony (which was acceptable seeing as we were staying for 5 days only). Very close to shops(had a supermarket right next door), city centre(2-3 min walk) and the beach(5-7 min walk)! If you don't feel like going out, the bar is open 24/7 and you can get served coffee or drinks or you can take them to your room. Overall we loved it as it satisfied our needs for a week vacantion and service we received for what we paid was more then ok.

toilet in bedroom far too small for a bigger person. door folded in half. we all managed but we are small. no sink in toilet. sink was with shower which also was a small room but shower worked fine.

all the staff were very friendly and welcoming. a/c very good in the bedroom. beds comfy and great maid service every day. everywhere was clean and sparkling

There's a chance I forgot how it was before the pandemic, but this time it felt to me like the water pressure in the shower is not so strong is before.
