Constant sound of dripping of water. I think there’s a sanatry pipe that runs above room 3. The noise was irritating during the entire 3 day stay.

We got a room that is on none of the pictures and is smaller than the ones pictured. We got a window onto a small yard with drying clothes (but some rooms are street faced). We got shower gell in four small packages, which is a bit wasteful. The matrace are way too soft, the bedlamp has white light (not conductive to putting you to sleep). The walls are indeed thin but the place was half empty so it was not a big deal.

The people running the place are nice. The checking in is a bit complicated: you are supposed to take a picture of your documents through some webpage. It did kotnwork for me. However, there eas no problem with sending them thrriugh whatsapp. Once that is done, you will get a link. At the door, you long-tap a "key" on that link and that opens the door. You find a physical key in the room. The shower is nicely warm and wifi is fast (100mbit). There is about ten rooms, some with private bathrooms, there are twonshared bathrooms. For the money we paid, it was really a great space. Leaving our luggage in a hotel in the center was also great.

There was a lot of hair on the bathroom floor. One mattress was comfortable (2 single beds), but the other was TERRIBLE and I couldn't sleep. Also, the walls are thin (and people are rude) and you hear everything!

The location was good. Near attractions, but not in the middle of the tourist area.

The walls are very thin. I was woken up by loud people also staying in the hotel, during the night and in the morning, arguing, screaming, or just loud chatting. The bed is comfortable enough but the pillows are kind of hard. The room itself is just a bed and bathroom, I wished they had a table and a chair, I wouldn't have had to go in public places to work. Careful, they do not refill the free samples of body gel, shampoo and soap. So think about bringing your own or get ready to buy one at the Mercadona not so far away.

The hotel is well placed, it's a 10min walk to go downtown and the neighborhood is calm. The staff made sure the room was clean whenever you ask for it. You can directly check-in online and you get virtual keys to access your room, where you'll find physical keys too.

The check in system was a little complicated. In the hostel there’s no reception or staff, so if you have any question you have to send message to the support number, they answer soon but I think is important to have a staff and reception to take care of the place, instead this many cameras on the place and at first to open the door you have to use your smartphone to unlock this electronic door. I don’t like it.

The parking

The hotel was very comfortable and Clean. But the only drawback was. There was nowhere to leave the bike. But I managed to park in the Courtyard.

The door did not fit properly so you could see light through the gaps, and when people went past the room the noise was quite loud. There was also only one plug socket in the room, so charging phones was a bit inconvenient.

The location is very good, only 10 minutes walk from the centre. The room was a good size and the bathroom worked well and was clean.There is an office in the centre where you can leave your bags when you check out, and that was very useful.

I am very disappointed with my stay at hostal Albero by gaiarooms. I felt like i slept under a staircase. The mattress was made out of foam which was dented to a deep pit in the form of a human. Then there was a lot of noise of toilet flushing (above and next to me), and sounds of the television of my neighbor, all were really an intrusion to my sleep. The door that had to separate my bed from the common hallway was very thin and thereby let a lot of noise trough as well. The lock looked like somebody before had tried to break in (screws were loose and sticking out). And on top of that there was no proper curtain to block out the early morning light. As a result I left after one night whereas i was supposed to stay two nights since i didn’t feel comfortable in these circumstances. Only nice thing is that they provide a towel and toilet paper.

Very close to many monuments, you can make a first visit to the center of Salamanca without taking transport.
