Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

NetherlandsThe closest public parking was very small and a challenge to park. The hotel is not really a hotel, it is more a room above a bathing facility. It is rather basic. Early breakfast is not easy to find in Cordoba, so if one is planning a visit, one should take this into account.
It is located in walking distance from the various tourist attractions. Food and drinks are low cost in Cordoba. The room was large.

HungaryThere wasn’t any. Some people did not like the chlorine smell which was inevitable due to the proximity of the baths, but in the room you could not even detect it.
The fact that the baths are just underneath made it really comfortable to enjoy some relaxation. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable and the room opened to a cute little patio. The location was central, it was very easy to reach all the sights. The staff was really nice, we could leave our luggages with them after check-out.

United StatesThere's no hot water from 8-9 am so they can fill the Arab baths, so plan accordingly!
We stayed in the beautiful, very large Azahar room at the end of the second floor. The bed was very comfortable and had good pillows and blankets. There were two large armoires for our things and a couch to relax on. There was also a small fridge that we didn't use. The air conditioning worked well. The best part of the booking was the two hours of Arab bath access included with the room each day. There you can soak, in warm, hot and cold pools, spend some time in the steam room, and finally float in the salt water pool. After that they include sweet mint tea in the airy, plant filled atrium with the salt pool. It's an incredible and luxurious experience. I would also book a one hour massage for as many days as you can afford while you're enjoying the baths. That's a real treat after days spent on airplanes and walking on hard cobblestones. Maité, one of our receptionists and bath house attendants, was simply wonderful. She knew my name within the first day of our three day stay, was able to rearrange our baths/massages schedule, and was just the sweetest presence at the hotel. What a lovely person. If you get the chance stay at this hotel.

This was a lovely stay, the staff were helpful and friendly. We particularly enjoyed the bath session which was so relaxing after a long drive. The hotel was in a quiet location in the old part of the city with easy access to the city sights.

United KingdomA room for breakfast would have been good, as we found it hard to find a good breakfast spot. But the hotel did have a kettle, so we could make a cup of tea.
Good sized room with a spacious, shared courtyard. Loved the attached hot, tepid and cold baths, with steam room, where they offered really good value massages. The hotel was well position on the edge of the old Arab quarter and close to the mosque/cathedral and Royal Palace & gardens. It's rustic and fairly basic - not luxury, but the staff and position are great.

United KingdomThis would have been 10/10 if it weren’t for the lack of hot water in the morning. I had seen a previous review complaining about it and would have thought the issue had been addressed but apparently not. A breakfast option would have been nice too! Still strongly recommend this for anyone who’s looking for a relaxing stay in Cordoba!
The room is very comfortable and going to the baths every day was an added bonus to our trip! Staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is great too, walking distance to everything.

Netherlands- Due to the filling of the thermal baths, the water in the shower was cold in the morning between a certain time (there was a sign hanging in the bathroom). Unfortunately it was the exact time we wanted to use it due to our 1 night stay and morning tour in Cordoba.
- Very friendly and helpfull staff. We arrived later than planned in the hotel, however we were able to re-scheduele our thermal baths appointment that evening. -They were also very kind in taking our suitcases and other things for the fridge after check out, and advising us about the city. - Lovely thermal baths, not so big, but also not so crowded. We enjoyed it alot. And it was very nice to get a cup of tea at tea at the end of our session. - Nice location, cute restaurant places around the corner.

LatviaThe room No.7 "Azahar" is right above the hot pools, so the air in the room is hot and wet. Sound and vibration from a water-pump or any other motor somewhere nearby the room made sleeping impossible. Luckily we stayed there just one night. May be other rooms are much better. Cold bright LED lamps in the room. Too dark in the bathroom.
Very large room. Location in the downtown. Access to pools and massage.

GermanyThe rooms are ok but old. In the end it does not matter, come here for the baths.
The baths are absolutely amazing. 4 types of pools (warm, hot, cold and salty water), all in the historic baths that make you travel back in time. Very private and not crowded as guests can book a specific time. All that together with dim light creates an amazing and relaxing atmosphere. Definitely a must when in Cordoba!

United KingdomYea and coffee would be nice in the room - not sure if the little kitchen near the lift was for guests. Shower overly complicated and delivered inconsistently both in terms of temperature and flow.
As far as we know there wasn’t a breakfast available. It was close to the centre of old Cordoba. The staff were lovely and helpful. The star of the show was the Arab baths which were very relaxing.

United StatesNothing.
Our room was quiet, comfortable, spacious, and had a lovely large patio outside it. Each day we visited the baths which were magical in the evening. The location is perfect, on a quiet side street but with easy access to everything. Ventilation system worked beautifully. Breakfast was not offered but they provided a large refrigerator so one could eat out on the patio.
