Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

LuxembourgThere was a storm before we arrived and the hotel was a mess. The air conditioning was not working properly that made 27 degree in the rooms. The pool pump was not worked and needed a replacement therefore the pool was closed a half day. The general cleanliness was a bit under standard and the buildings and pathways were not maintained properly although the rooms inside was well maintained. I also did not like the shared duvets specially when it is hot, but this is probably a me thing.
The location is remote from the busy villages and the see but still close if you drive a car. There is a good serenity and the adults only pool is spectacular. I loved the good food although the breakfast is very busy. The park is very lush.

SwedenThe location. You need your own car or taxi. But keep in mind that taxi appears to be a fairly scarce resource in this area.
The premises are nice.

LuxembourgThere could be bigger pools, if not additional pools since they are far from the sea. And to compensate the distance from the beach. Also a nice music by the pool will be good just to make the area more alive with a tolerable volume level of course. A guide/staff to find the designated rooms would also be nice since the buildings are separated from each other. This is based from other Hilton hotels experiences before. But overall the stay was nice.
Exclusivity! We love Hilton for it’s exclusive service. Nice hotel, nice ambience and comfortable rooms.

United KingdomThere was not much to do in the evening but there was a tapas bar/lounge - it was pretty soulless with little food to choose from. The hotel is on a large complex so easy to get lost in it.
I booked this very last minute and was very pleased to be told when we arrived that we had been upgraded to a suite (how lucky)! This is a fabulous hotel set high up in the hills of Paguera with lovely views over the bay and beyond. It had both family and adult sections to choose from. The adult section was peaceful and serene with a restaurant (daytime only when we were there) that had a good choice of food & wines of good quality. There was lots of choice at breakfast

United KingdomMany little things left plenty of room for improvement: First of, breakfast was a daily stress routine, very over crowded and usually a queue at peak time. Breakfast itself was good although not great, for example, porridge and yogurts bowls were left open all the time, not very hygienic, and only one little toaster for literally upwards of a 100 people having breakfast at peak time, so always waiting for a chance at the toaster... not a 5* experience I would say. Little cans of water at €4 each, no free refreshments even in reception, a huge contrast to other Hiltons, e.g. Hilton Rose Hall in Jamaica, that offers a lavish choice of free refreshments at the entrance. Had to constantly make trips to the nearest supermarket to stock on water, again not a 5* experience. Our room (2nd floor main building, I think they call it the Lighthouse), had a recurrent drainage smell problem, we asked to have it checked which was promptly done, but as I say it was a recurrent problem. It seemed to come from the AC, never noticed when AC was off. Also, recurrent noise coming from upstairs, nothing drastic, not a major issue but noise insulation could and should be better for a 5* hotel. The dinner options are limited to the €40 plus drinks buffet, there is something they call the 'Tapas bar' menu at the Alma bar, but as a Spanish born person I can guarantee that any resemblance with proper 'tapas' is mere coincidence, with the exception of the ham / cheese platters which were ok, but unfortunately, you cannot have ham / cheese platters every evening... not good for cholesterol :). Talking about the Alma bar, unfortunately the management didn't foresee the amount of people that would use this bar during the Euro matches, staff was super short and a lot of people were complaining, shouting matches included. Talking about Euro matches, surely a 5* hotel could afford larger and better quality TV screens? Etc.
Large hotel with spectacular views and mostly good facilities, great and relaxing adults-only pool (main pool not so great). Location is great if you have a car, otherwise avoid.

GeorgiaThe deposit amount for one day is 50 euros, but it will be returned to you shortly after checkout if you do not spend it on hotel services.
Nice, cozy hotel with good breakfast and spacious rooms. It's in a good location if you have a car, but public transport is inconvenient. The outdoor pools are good, although a bit overcrowded.

United KingdomSome of the bathrooms very cramped - not much space in the shower and in the actual bathrooms. One room smelt of drains. No evening entertainment and taxis to the local town/beach area can sometimes take up to 25 mins to arrive Dinner and breakfast buffet very basic and ran out of items and very hot in the main room . Better to eat out rather than in hotel for dinner. Vending machine „shop“ extremely overpriced: 8 euros for packet of crisps ! No complimentary water in the rooms Family pool does not open until 10am
Location was nice for sunbathing as very breezy and lovely greenery too. Beautiful views. Family pool lovely but busy at times with inflatables and ball games. Staff very friendly and lunch at the paradise bar very good. Renovated rooms were decorated nicely and air con was good in both rooms we had Family suite great with two bedrooms two bathrooms and a lounge area.
