Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThe non-securing sunbeds with towels rule is non existent - rather hard to find a sunbed and many are empty but have a towel… for hours. Food in the canteen/buffet not well labelled for vegetarian and peanut allergens (or any others).
Excellent location to restaurants, bars and a small shop across the road. Very clean and tidy. Rooms were lovely. Breakfast and dinner were good quality and varied choices. Staff at the pool and in the restaurant were very friendly.

IrelandBit far down the strip for my liking. Lifts are slow and different allowances at different time of days. Booking restaurants was a disaster. When i approached reception about it i was told you have to book them at least 3 days in advance. A lot of people ended up signing up for half board @ €10pp per day. Food was lovely in buffet restaurant, thankfully. Saw new people arrive with elderly families looking for grub but got turned away from Mencey restaurant because they had no reservation- the restaurant was almost empty. Nighttime Entertainment was shocking for 3/7 days.
Beautiful hotel, clean, friendly. Nice little touches. Free lunch while we waited for room at 3. Two free drinks when it was delayed 20mins. Minibar stacked for free. Complimentary passes to spa. Little box of lindor sent to room when husband was not well. Got a pool view room at no extra cost. Bracelets very handy to pay at bar/restaurants. Great idea. No sunbed wars - beds still available during the day.

United KingdomThey were a bit disorganised. Reception sent us to the wrong place to find the kids club and there some activities were cancelled without previous notice. The cleaner didn’t pick up empty water bottles because someone else was supposed to do it and that didn’t happen.
Perfect location. Great pool and good food.

United KingdomThe entertainment is extremely outdated. I believe H10 need to update their DJ's or their play list. Variety of music aside from cheese would be nice. The gym needs to be updated. The bike was broken and there are limited machines. Only 6 people are allowed at the gym at once. Also when ordering a taxi, the hotel do not provide your name or room number and therefore, sometimes it can be confusing when one arrives.
We opted for half board and the food was amazing. The catering staff/ chefs waiters are exceptional. The location is GREAT!! 3 BEACHES nearby, lots of shops, restaurants. Perfect! The receptionist were helpful.

United KingdomKids entertainment was poor, waited for the disco a few nights but never came on. Never played games and when asked they said it was because of the lack of children even though the kids pool was always full
Very clean, good location. Food was very nice and always fresh.

IrelandLong walk to room(can't help that in such a large), pool hours were a bit restrictive - 9am to 7pm. I would have liked to swim early or later than these times. It seems it is quite difficult to maintain the heat of food at such a large buffet so I tried to stick to the colder or freshly made options. Our room was a bit dusty when we arrived and there were stains on the white linen sofa, my parents room was a bit nicer, though we paid the same for the same type of room. Would have been nice if the cafe opened a bit earlier. Some of the people making the food in the mornings need more training, I asked for a bit of salt in my omelette and the man added nearly a teaspoon of salt.
The variety of food available- particularly appreciated the food which was made while you watched- freshly made crepes, omletes, fish, stir-fry etc. The pool was great, the staff were so friendly and helpful (apart from one or two people at reception), free invite to the special dinner show, free drinks and lunch while we waited to check in, the night time entertainment was great- especially the flamenco music and dance show, I enjoyed the mini fridge and the slippers and house coat- so cozy. Really liked the bathroom and the shower was incredible. Also appreciated the air-conditioning. Cocktails from the bar were delicious. Loved the decor of the reception, lounge and pool area.

United KingdomWe found it all to be a little grotty, the rooms were dirty (floors) mainly, the poolside area needs a good clean, and the outside pool bar stinks which you can smell whilst on the sunbeds near to the bar, the lifts are very slow and small lucky to get more than 3 people in them. The activities during the day are not really well advertised so you have no idea what's going on and when. None of the rooms are set up for small children at all, the bathrooms are not set up for young kids, and we found the hotel in general is not really that great when it comes to having things parents need for small babies. If you have children from 3 upwards you will be fine. The bathrooms need proper doors on them, and to Sofa's are so old in the room they are uncomfortable.
The staff were the best thing about the hotel, everyone from the managers to the cleaners were all so nice and polite, the room was an ok size but we stayed in a "Suite" I personally would not say it was that exactly. The food buffet has plenty of choice and nice fresh cooking stations open every day. Large pool and a great location.

United KingdomThe sun-beds are bit close to each other, which doesn’t necessarily gives you enough privacy. They renewing some levels of the hotel, however they try to be very silent and it’s hardly noticeable.
The stuff is amazing, everything is very clean, and they on your service as soon as you need them. The location itself is superb as it’s close to shops, restaurants and party places however it’s far enough to not hear anything from them. I think it’s a perfect fit for all age, the adult only area is a nice touch.

United KingdomThe band system to pay - it could be easy to lose track of how much you spent if you don’t keep track of how many drinks you have. The staff didn’t have an accurate total of our bill and we had to share the drinks we had throughout the stay to get an accurate bill (originally underestimated by the staff).
The location and the amenities were great. The food included in the half board option was of good quality. The staff were very friendly and were able to speak a variety of languages.

United KingdomNeeds more service at breakfast - the time you collect tea/ toast etc and queue up for your breakfast is warm if lucky. I would recommended at least serving tea/coffee to tables like other quality hotels. It’s too much trying to get everything and having a hot breakfast. I thought the rooms were a little small for a premium price hotel .

United StatesThe traffic flow in the restaurant was sometimes an obstacle course, but for a huge resort, they have good logistics despite the masses of guests at peak times. The air conditioning in my room was poor, however. Fortunately, opening up the balcony door at night cooled off the room, with the added benefit of hearing the crashing waves in the stillness of late night.
The staff at the main restaurant/buffet were amazing. I felt welcomed and appreciated. The room was lovely and tidy.
