Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

We stayed across two rooms for one night. What an amazing location - especially if you get the rooms facing the main square which we had. Instructions on how to park and find the property were simple to follow esp given we were arriving past check in hours. The room was clean and comfortable. Given its location you are going to get some noise from the square but that quieten down fairly quickly. In the morning the lovely staff member walked us to the car parking so as to exchange our ticket for theirs given we had paid 20 Euros discounted fee versus 24 euros normal car parking overnight fee.

United StatesThe only thing I would add to the room is a hook to hang used towels in the bathroom, and a toilet paper dispenser in the bathroom as well.
This hostal is like a little gem right at the heart of some of the most beautiful places to see in Zaragoza, las dos catedrales, the roman bridge, the tapas district, and so much more. The attention was very personalized and friendly. The place is immaculate and really pretty. The rooms are very small, but they have everything you need! Alex and Sofia, both, have great suggestions on places to visit. They will share their ideas and knowledge with you. If you have any kind of question or issue, text them. They respond almost immediately!

United StatesIt was a tiny bit noisy in a room that faces the plaza. Didn’t love the “we will tell you how the key code to get in the room some (undefined) time before you arrive.” Thankfully, staff was there when we arrived, so no problem, but a little anxiety provoking.
Location excellent, rooms are well appointed, staff was friendly and helpful. Great value for the price!

The communication before our visit was friendly and helpful, and our reception on arrival was warm and welcoming. I'd wanted to book a hostal close to the Museo Goya and Hostal Plaza was in the perfect location for everything we wanted to do, as well as for exploring a city we'd never visited before. We only had 24 hours in Zaragoza but the experience was a gem of warmth and tranquility after being in busier cities and Hostel Plaza Boutique was part of that lovely experience.
