The biggest drawback was the sewage smell in the room, the furniture is damaged, it would be ok if the shower, which is rusty, was changed. The location is ok, the staff is kind and helped us. Breakfast is served 2 minutes from the location at a bakery where pastries are served. Overall it was ok, but the quality-price ratio is not really worth it in my opinion.

The only thing that was sub par about this place was that the bed. I need a softer bed because at my age I have aches and pains in my bones. The room could have had a table or desk in it but it had a little work space with chairs which was alright.

The location suited my needs. The facility was clean and had everything I needed for my type of traveling.

Very lovely room, basic but had everything we needed! It was clean, modern and decorated nicely. Location was also great, very close to Plaza Catalunya and had easy connections to other main attractions. Would recommend!

The only window in the room overlooked a tiny space enclosed by the buildings around it, so barely any sunlight could reach the room. It was hard to wake up properly in the mornings as it felt like it was still night. We had to use the big light in the room even during the day. Also, the air conditioning was available, but very difficult to use and sometimes wouldn’t work at all.

The location of the hostel was great, a walking distance from almost all the main attractions. The room was clean and had all the necessities like the hairdryer, shower gel, etc. Although the walls were pretty thin, the hostel wasn’t too busy so the noise wasn’t a big issue for us.

I enjoyed the fact that the listing was in a good location. 8-10min walk from metro station. When we arrived there was a gutter smell, the window was open. It seems like this smell was in the area and not just the room. Either way we closed the bathroom door and kept the window open and eventually the smell dissipated. The host was ver helpful and answered to my questions whenever needed. We also left our bags at the reception on our last day so that we didn't have to carry them around all day, this was after the check-out so it was very nice that the host provided this service to us without any extra cost. The place was apparently clean, the bathrooms needs a little maintenance but nothing special. The listing shows as soundproof however we could easily hear the next room noises (people talking loud, going to the bathroom, etc.) Overall it was a good experience and the price was way lower than any other place in the same area. Loved the staff.

The room is too small. We have no window in our room despite we told the hotel that our room have a window and they confirmed to us that. No 24 h front desk reception.

Despite messaging the property twice with our arrival time, no one was in the building. They remotely buzzed us in, and the same with reception. The young lady showed up about 10 minutes later to give us the keys, and she was very nice. The bed sagged in the middle, so we tended to end up clumped together. The site says there is coffee available onsite, and I did see a Nespresso machine, but no capsules to actually make coffee. I believe there needs to be better communication between management and the people who work there.

Location is excellent. Very close to Plaça Catalunya. Room was very good size with a balcony. Bathroom and shower excellent.

Basic Hostal in good location. Can reach a lot by foot and transport everywhere close by. Room+bathroom were fairly big so overall a short and good stay.

The smell from the bathroom was unpleasant. There was some weird noise all night and the bed was not comfortable. The walls are very thin and you can hear the other guests speaking.
