The mirrors in the bathrooms should be changed, they look deteriorated and the hair dryer could be more modern.

The location is great. Close to the La Rambla street, 15 min walk to the sea. People working here are so nice and friendly. And the breakfast was excellent, with many things to choose from and so tasty. The big terrace room is simply a must. The air conditioner cools the room really fast and it is not loud.

I have read the reviews about the noise but for our room it’s not that bad maybe because we are in the 6th floor and we are not staying in a room with a balcony. What i mean with not bad, just a bang noise every now and then but not annoying really because we slept all throughout the night.

The hotel location is perfect near the gothic quarter and walking distance to most of the sightseeings in Barcelona. Our room was 603 in the 6th floor facing the Basilica church which is amazing. Also, we like the fact that we can go back to our room anytime of the day to rest and freshen up. The room was clean and my architect partner appreciate the design of the room.

Everything was great, except for the fire alarm issue. While we understood that this was due to some construction nearby, it was very unpleasant to hear the fire alarm and not know whether we should go our or not.

Family of 3 with 1 kid, the location was perfect, walking distance to park and close to Las Ramblas and not far from beach in barcelonetta. Room was great and staff very friendly. Breakfast was fine probably worth the money.

The first day there was some noise from construction work, but this only lasted for the day and we were offered to be moved.

The hotel's location was excellent, staff where friendly and helpful. The breakfast was superb with excellent choices available, overall very good !

Whilst the location is really great for convenience, it is quite a busy part of the town. There was a lot of activity and noise going on outside in the streets that lasted until the early hours of the morning. Nothing really the hotel could do to be honest, but it's worth bearing in mind if you are a light sleeper or this type of noise bothers you in the evenings.

This was a last-minute stay due to a mess up with booking.com. But as a last-minute arrival in the early hours of the morning, the staff couldn't have been any more accommodating. They were very efficient to get us booked in and settled after a long journey. The rooms were great, very pleasant, clean and modern. Situated in the heart of old town Barcelona, it is within easy reach of most amenities and centres. Stayed for 3 nights and it was a lovely stay.

because of the location of the hotel on a noisy street you can hear noises all night. but that did not bother us. bring earplugs or ask for a different room.

I had thought there was a roof terrace. Balcony a bit pointless as the street it is on is narrow and not particularly attractive.

Very, very small room. Instead, we were told to check into the Gotico hotel as our original hotel is undergoing renovations. I assume based on previous reviews this is normal. On the very first day, our room was cleaned with bleach. The smell was so strong that it was unbearable to breathe. For the remaining days, we simply left the "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door to avoid further cleaning. The window overlooks the hotel's technical channel, making it difficult to ventilate. For breakfast, they serve sliced ​​sausage both separately and in sandwiches with plastic casing. When attempting to ask the restaurant staff for more orange juice, they direct you to drink concentrate from a machine. The climax was a huge reddish cockroach at the reception.

We had the smallest room in the hotel which was awkward for two people plus luggage. Skimpy soap. No face cloths.

Pretty expensive. Also I had asked to get confirmation we could have 2 separate beds several times but apparently they couldn’t guarantee it in advance, even like a couple of days before our arrival, which is pretty strange as their system should know what rooms would be free on the day… in the end we got 2 beds but just weird they wouldn’t help in advance

The room was very spacious and clean, the guys at the reception always nice and helpful.
