The beds on shared rooms don’t have a divider or curtain to have a bit of more privacy but not a big deal.

Great location and close to Gran via. Common areas and restaurant with different food options, and the lobby has a great vibe. Decoration, music, vending machines and friendly staff :) I’ve talked with a family staying on a private room and they talked wonders about it

The location is absolutely. superb being just off the Gran Via. The roof terrace and catering give it a big hotel feel. The staff at all Generator hostels have a reputation for being exceptional.

The room size was small and they charged for the towels. The hallways were loud with other guests, but that was not the hostel’s fault.

My bedsheet has a blood stain, and the bed cover is torn from overuse. There were no towels provided, and there is no shampoo in the room either.

The room was quite small for 8 beds, the privacy screens on the beds were facing the wrong way!! the toilet and shower were super small. Shame there was another toilet on the same floor. The staff didn't look like they were enjoying life,and it felt a little cold.

Really good location, bed was comfortable, no way of meeting people. Good there were extra showers on the floor.

Only complaints would be only 1 shallow pillow each and jacuzzi’s weren’t in use our weekend, however, neither of these out weighed how amazing the hostel was.

Very central, nice and modern and clean. Perfect for a short city break. Rooftop bar was very nice with lovely cocktails. Staff were attentive and polite throughout.

The idea of having a bathroom and a shower inside the room sounds good but when you share with other 7 people with different routines, schedules and upbringings, this is a bit bothering. However, it was manageable. The only thing that really doesn’t make sense in the room is the hair dryer. That should be somewhere outside so that it can be used independently of sleep schedules.

The location was excelent, the property is nice, staff is great, I had a good experience!

Not much to say, but at one night there was a drunk visitor making much noise in entrance (probably the football fan after Madrid vs Stuttgart game), shouting an hitting at the doors and it lasted more than half an hour in the middle of the night. Someone (guest of the hotel) let this guy quiet.

Great Location, Great Value for the Price! Easy access. My room (Family room) was with a view on inside garden, so it was pretty quiet there.

Very disappointed that the jacuzzi was closed throughout our stay. No maintenance was observed taking place, it seemed like it was closed for convenience. We wanted to go to the bar for a drink on Saturday night 8pm - as a family we did not want to take the children (14, 11) out in the city at night. The rooftop bar was closed for a private event - understandable- however when we went downstairs to the bar it was also hosting a private paid music event so we could not go in as we only wanted a drink or two. This is unacceptable. We booked for the amenities and location but could not even have a drink at the bar. Very disappointing. You should be prioritising your guests, having all amenities closed is not acceptable.

The shower in the room and the hair dryer but it is pretty good budget wise.

The location was great! The property had a lot available in terms of food options, bar, activities which is nice to have at the price the rooms were.
