The en-suite was not a separate room, it was just separated from the bedroom by a screen, affording little privacy. The thin walls meant that we overheard loud neighbours talking very early in the morning.

Location was brilliant overlooking the sea but right in the centre of town. We loved the traditional architectural style. The breakfast was excellent.

Not much choice of warm foods for breakfast. I also didn’t like that the remote for air conditioning wasn’t in the room, I had to request for it at the reception. There’s a kettle and mug in the room, but no tea/coffee and sugar provided. Rooms do need a bit of freshen up / new lick of paint but it wasn’t anything awful, it’s just a bit outdated.

The location and the staff were wonderful. Rooms were clean. I booked a single but got a twin room, it was spacious enough with wardrobe and a big shower room.

The language difficulty was a problem, the owner having little English and we almost no Spanish. He became aggressive on the matter of the breakfast on departure, as I had misunderstood him. I had to tell him to calm down, which left me feeling vulnerable. I would not have expected a hotel owner to behave in this way.

The hotel was small but lovely, a redesigned hacienda style property, with a large shared terrace overlooking the sea, and a courtyard on the ground floor with bar and breakfast area.. Breakfast was plentiful and well presented. However, the strict time limit presented difficulties on our day of departure. The owner refused to allow us to eat a little earlier, refused point blank to let us take food out on the morning ot departure. We reached a compromise, being allowed to make up a sandwich the day before at breakfast.

Very pleasant welcome from the staff. This hotel is well located in Garachico. The breakfast, that you order the evening before is classic but worthwhile.

Really characterful with beautiful and comfortable rooms. Great views from the terrace where it’s lovely to enjoy a bottle of wine in the evening.

Room we had, the bathroom was in the room with only a wall dividing it and had no ceiling so you have to have a very good relationship with your partner to go to the loo in the same room as them! The male owner was pretty gruff and not particularly friendly.

Hotel was basic but comfortable. A little expensive for the type of room we had but a fantastic location in Garachico. Breakfast was good and sundeck overlooking the sea was nice when it was sunny.

Nothing really it was beautiful and ideally located. Staff were very helpful. If I could on anything it would be the choice of cooked breakfast but there was plenty of other choice available.

Finding the fridge in the bathroom was a little bit weird. Personally, I'd like to have more fresh fruit for breakfast.

Astonishing view, rightly in front of the Ocean. Cosy rooms, most of the furnitures made of wood, floor included. Really comfortable beds. The common terrace and the small solarium, just over the patio of this ancient renewed building, are just amazing.

The noise of the fan/air conditioning, the bathroom not being properly separated from the room (it has a 6 foot partition).

Loved the vibe, the inner courtyard, the rooftop terrace, the high wooden ceiling in our room.

Sonia is a great host with very good advices about Garachico. The hotel is familiar in a traditional home with a patio and great terrasse.
