Everything. Location was perfect,, staff very friendly, food was delish, pool area was so relaxing and quiet. Bedrooms were clean and comfortable. Really enjoyed our stay.

The variety of hot food at dinner could be improved, would just book for bed & breakfast the next time. Curtains torn and need to be replaced on doors to balcony.

The breakfast was excellent with plenty of variety. Location was great with easy access to shopping and restaurants. Beach was also convenient with access via the hotel lifts to level 1.

room was not good clean, there were some ants in the room and roaches in entrance of the hotel. Not much variety of food at meals.

- Bathroom: The bathroom could do with a little renovation honestly. Also, it has just a sliding door, I was traveling alone so no issue with that, but if you’re with someone you don’t get too much privacy I guess. And finally, no toilet brush…?! - Extremely thin walls: Seriously, BRING EARPLUGS, I had people in all rooms around me snoring all night, I would have died without earplugs 😅 You can hear every move people make especially at night.

- Location: The hotel is built on a hill with two entrances, one up in the city center and one down close by the beach. Absolutely perfect! - Staff: Everyone I interacted with was fantastic. - Food: Simply amazing, abundant choice for breakfast and dinner, and the restaurant’s terrace has amazing views. - Beds: Probably the most comfortable I have ever slept in. - Cleanliness: The room was cleaned every day and you also get an eye mask as a welcome gift :) - Other: They have an iron to borrow at the reception. You can postpone checkout for 10 EUR/hour. They can store your luggage at the reception.

As soon as I arrived, I was assigned a noisy room (the air conditioner worked even if the switch was off). On the second day I was assigned a quiet room.

The only thing that would change is the layout around the pool which in my opinion , the 4 silly large wooden beds are a waste of time which take up far too much space . I would remove them and put a few more sun lounges in and the you can space them out more I know it is trying to give the impression of a luxury boutique hotel but for me it’s a traditional Spanish hotel so don’t over complicate it .Also I was unfortunate to get a room overlooking a fire escape although the room was very nice it was very dark all the time plus the balcony was a waste of time due to looking at a brick wall I guess that’s just the look of the draw when booking not all the rooms can have the best view so it’s not a criticism of the hotel it’s just my personal experience

The breakfast was excellent and really enjoyed eating out side probably the best in Torremolinos the location is fabulous for accessing the beach or main centre from the hotels elevator , probably again the best in Torremalinos The rooms are very tastefully decorated with good size modern bathrooms Also the pool is fabulous plus the little caravan Le RIta which serves properly cooked restaurant food and drinks was excellent not something you normally get at a pool bar . The only other thing I would say is I would rate it at a good 3 star not a 4 star saying that I think the only 4 star in this area is the Mellia and look at there prices probably double the Fenix ,the Fenix is a totally different style of hotel so you carnt really compare the two I don’t think the star rating system in any hotel is accurate people will always pick fault so I think you should visit the hotel and not worry about it

Very comfortable, large room. Usually hotel beds are uncomfortable but the bed here was very comfortable. The location of the property was excellent. There were exits to centre of Torremolinos and to the road to the beach (it was only a short stroll to the beach).

The Promo Room was a little disappointing, no balcony or interesting views. There could have been at least one international TV channel.

The breakfast was great. The hotel is very close to the beach and the central shopping and restaurant areas. The rooms are clean and the AC works wonders.

The room I originally was allocated was poorly situated - over the front door, facing the road. The "double bed" was 2 single beds beside each other. I was moved to different room, "facing" the pool, but the window faced the wall, again 2 single beds for a double bed. The fridge was just inside the door, banged into daily! There was a smell in the wardrobe and the AC didnt really work. This hotel is great, if you get a good room!

- The location is within the town but a little away from the noise - very well located for easy access to beach, restaurants and metro station - Breakfast buffet had an extensive choice with good quality - Bathroom - good shower, bathroom products, etc - Good access to beach

The effort to modernize is appreciated but needs to move faster. Clunky elevators, poor signage off of staiways/alt elevators, bulky furniture. Pity no on-site parking, but options near. Luckily the great staff makes up for any inconvenience.

Great location, staff and breakfast. All staff from check in to cleaning to breakfast to technical assistance were readily available with a smile. Very near tons of restos and only 4-5 min to beach. Appreciated adults-only quieter concept, as an option to the large competing hotel nearby full of screaming pool-side children.

The hotel is overpriced for the overall quality of the services offered. The only food available at the top swimming pool is a crap pizza

No outside light on balcony - looked like the bulb needed replacing but we were told that the hotel ‘doesn’t have outside balcony lights’…. Shame

Hotel very good; nice sized room, enormous balcony, decent pool area. Lovely outside breakfast area; shaded in the morning. Good breakfast spread. Hotel doesn’t seem massive so has a nice small feel about it. No children - hurrah. Room 411 with Balcony & Sea View - excellent. Attractive pool area with 3 cabanas, more than enough sun beds & sturdy umbrellas. La Rita bar & snacks. Central location for shops, restaurants, beach & train station 5mins walk. 2 supermarkets next door. Town has some really nice Plazas and real restaurants
