The hotel restaurant and bar as well as the 2 restaurants across the street and 1 restaurant a few blocks away were closed for the month of August. Staff had no idea where to direct us for dinner. The few places in town that were open served food only after 8 pm. Booking should inform travelers of such situations.

The hotel is 4 star but we felt it was quite basic. The safe didn't work and we were told it would be fixed but it wasn't. Also, be careful of the windows that have a tendency to spin all the way around, I got a pretty hefty cut on my shoulder from standing close to it as it spun around. There are no tea/coffee making facilities in the room, but there is a hairdryer so I'd advise swapping the hairdryer for a small kettle in your case. There is a coffee vending machine downstairs but its quite expensive and the bar and restaurant are closed until September. I went to the local McDonald's every morning for coffee.

The location is good, although a fair way from Sol (main Madrid) there were plenty of amenities close to the hotel. Supermarket, restaurants and a public outdoor pool across the road. There are good transport links nearby to get around. The hotel itself is clean and comfortable, if a bit basic. We stayed here for the Mad Cool festival which was easy to get to via taxi for under 10 euro. The staff are friendly and we were able to get a later check out for free which was very helpful. If we go to the festival again we would stay here. It's good as a base to see a bit of Madrid.

Clean, spacious and well furnished rooms. I did not have the food etc so cannot comment on that, but the location is next to the university which was my main work and I walked for just 15 mins to get to it. Sometimes just a taxi of 5 mins to the university and so for me the location was spot on.

-There was no electric kettle in the room. I did ask at the reception, they informed me that I could come and get hot water anytime. However that did not seem very convenient. -Not too many supermarkets or convenience stores nearby.

-Clean room. -Spotless bathroom with excellent bathtub. -Room service top notch. -Quiet area. -Friendly staff. -The park nearby, and the views from the hotel are very nice.

We were unable to figure out how to control the thermostat, but I also failed to ask for help. Also, if you are entering late at night, the gate is closed and only the gate on the right side while looking at the hotel has a button. That was bit of a rough experience.

The hotel was in a convenient location. We used UBER for all our transportation needs, so it was only about a15-20 ride to all our destinations in Central of Madrid. There is a supermarket and Burger King and McDonalds in walking distance of about 3 minutes. I would stay here again in the future.

If you rely on public transportations (which is very good in Madrid) — consider that it's 15-20 walking from the train station. And, it seems train stop working after 1-2am (at least we were not able to hop on it).

Stuff and friendliness was great. Room is also amazing. There are places to eat close to the hotel. Also, there a supermarket here.

There wasn't any ventilation in the washroom. The staff was not kind enough. In most hotels there are coffee machines and tea available all the time but in this hotel there was nothing. The location was really bad and you have to walk 25 minutes to the station. It was not in the Getafe city centre and was very far from any facilities. The bed was not comfortable. In the last day that we had to check out before the breakfast time, I asked for breakfast a day before and they accepted but they gave it just for 1 person while they knew that we are 2 and we had paid for two people. The breakfast package was included a box of water, some fruit and a bread (it wasn't worth it to ask for it).

It is a bit strange to find that a 4 star hotel does not provide coffee or tea making facilities in the room. Every time we had to come down to the recpetion to get hot water so that we could make our own tea in the room.

Hotel was clean, room and bathroom was spacious, breakfast was good. Supermarket and McDonald's was just a few meters from the hotel. To get to Madrid by train one needs to walk 1.3 km to reach Getafe train station
