Standard double room had the bed against the wall and not enough room to open suitcases on the floor. The shower was so small that to wash and dry yourself was a challenge and no place to hang towels or clothes. But price was good!

So the first issue…. Checking in. I don’t know why they have the address wrong on here. So if you show up before talking to them, (which we did)… you’re going to be confused about where to go. I did find an odd door that seemed like it could be it… but it’s not. I think the “1” in the address is the apartment number and not the building. The actual building number is 9. So we reach out via whatsapp to check in. We did not expect an early check in, but we asked anyway. It took about 15 minutes to get a reply. Which is kind of annoying, but fine. Then the person did agree to allow us to check in an hour early. They gave us the correct address and told us to message them when we were at the door. We told them we’d be there in 2 minutes but would message. So as per instructions… we messsaged. 5 minutes go by. 10…20..30…. We are just standing there with our luggage waiting. Standing right next to people eating at the restaurant. Finally 45 minutes AFTER the time they said we could check in, they finally reply. They message the information and the rest was super simple. I don’t understand why they didn’t just give us those details during our first interaction! They were apologetic. Something about being in class. But this is a business… you need to be available when you say you will. This would cause a strong aversion to booking places without on site staff for the rest of the trip. The second issue… I was aware that there was a good chance we wouldn’t get a room with a window. But it kind of seemed like this was dependent on order of check in. We were the first to check in and we got room 1. And I noticed that as people checked in… they seemed to go in order of room numbers. The room barely fit a queen size bed. All said and done, it wasn’t a big deal. But I did get a peek into the room across the way with a window and it was SO much nicer. They could also use some hooks or something in the room to hang the towels and whatnot.

The location was great. The price was also great. I found the bed to be pretty comfortable. It was clean and the bathroom was well equipped.

There is no staff staying in the hotel. We check in at 8 pm that's why we need to pay 20 euro more. The staff only spoke Spanish she didn't know English well.

The location is amazing. The bed and bathroom are nice. Everything is clear and clear.

Extremely nosy all the night from the street. The walls are too thin and from the inside you can hear everything. I don’t think 1 bathroom is enough for so many rooms, however It was always free and I don’t had to wait. A second socket in the room will be better.

No information about how to open the front door without a key when checking out. I had to wait for a resident to show me. Great to have a shared fridge, but it is in an awkward position inside a cupboard without handles. The sensor lighting in the hall way goes off to quickly to use the key. Very noisy street - the parties only ended when the street cleaners arrived at 7am.

It was a bit complicated to check in, the instructions said to call a number which would open the door automatically but it didn't work so I had to call the support number instead Unrelated to the accommodation: the street has many bars so it's loud at night and it had civil work happening in the early morning

the street noise was pretty insane on Friday and Saturday - the double glazing did block some of it but it was still too loud to sleep. this room would be great for a week night stay when people aren’t in the street making noise so much.

the room, though basic, was comfortable (good bed, heating, fan, good shower pressure in shared bathrooms). the location was excellent. The staff were accommodating of our late arrival time (for an extra fee)

I was VERY impressed by the whole experience! The staff are very friendly and professional. The service was excellent. They were very responsive and helpful with my questions. The room met all my needs - very comfortable bed, A/C, and a quiet room as the other guests were very respectful. The location is the best in Madrid. There are also lockers just one-minute away if you need them. I will be back! Thank you so much for the hospitality!

We got lost because the location in Booking is different than the real one, we arrived 20:05 and we had to pay 20€ for arriving after 20:00 even though this happened because the location was wrong. We had no windows and everything was dirty.

Check in was quite a hassle, u must have a reloaded credit to make calls in Spain to unlock the door. Owner was nice but is not very responsive. Especially waiting under the hot sun. No kitchen utilities, such as plates and cutleries. No dinning area, but the microwave and kettle was convenient.

AIRCOND!!! Such a saviour with the boiling weather, the inside is very clean and multiple bathrooms & showers even though it was shared.

We did not have an AC, there was just a fan on the chandelier

The shared bathroom was clean and there were 2 showers. The room had a balcony and in the lobby we had a coffee machine, free coffee and tea, and a refrigerator. The check-in process was easy and fast.
