    Nothing really springs to mind

As long as you are capable of walking then it's perfectly situated on southern side of city 25 minutes walk to centre. Even if you don't care to walk it's only 5 euro taxi ride. Swift access to main local motorway. Which we used on our journey down to Toledo. Parking was free, safe and right outside hotel main doors. Also Aldi nearby for buying essentials. Rooms were spacious and spotless with comfortable bed.. The staff couldn't be more helpful throughout the hotel. We found the evening meal in hotel excellent quality and value for money .Breakfast was adequate for 8 euro price. Would definitely stop here again

The air conditioning is not strong enough. My dogs didn’t sleep all night as were severely overheating

Hotel and staff are fantastic! And the hotel grounds are fab. We had 2 dogs with us so plenty of room.

Breakfast. It is a waste of money of 8 euro p.p. I wish we had walked away. Everything was so old. Bread and other pastry was old and hard. The boiled eggs were probably a few days old. Cafe with milk from the machine is horrible. Plain coffee was acceptable. Please don’t breakfast there.

The room was very clean and comfortable. It was also quite spacious. We were there for a night so it was good. Parking is just in front. It takes 30 min walk to the city. Uber/cabify etc don’t work in Salamanca so you need to call a taxi if you don’t want to walk

Really nice hotel at a great price. We had dinner in the garden and the service was brilliant. Staff were so helpful and even walked to the town with us and showed us the highlights.

Fridge in room never stopped buzzing. Easily sorted.....unplug it at bedtime!

Good stopping point heading north to ferries. Very clean and huge beds. Good food with several options. Reasonable prices at the bar. We had a balcony which, although overlooked a busy road, was in full sun all day. Nice sun trap garden at the back. Parking right outside the door. Good wifi. It's about 20 minutes' walk to the old town which is beautiful. We have stopped here before but didn't think to visit the old town as we forgot they open up again late afternoon until 10pm. Do visit if you can. A really good stopover.

for the light sleepers, the wooden doors don't have soft closures and make a heck of a noise when they close. i forgot my ear plugs and was woken a lot in the morning. walls are a little thin so can hear room next door and cleaners in morning. all good with earplugs though and proper black out blinds so good sleep.

great location, easy to get to, loads free secure parking, can walk / drive into salamanca, lots of fastfood and cheap fuel nearby. huge room, extremely clean, strong hot shower, retro wall hairdryer which i couldn't stop playing with, really helpful staff. cleaning staff really lovely and friendly.

an extremely last minute booking (cpl hours) so lucky they had availability close to where i was. huge amount of parking which was safe despite having a car full of stuff, really easy to find, close to cheap fuel stops and Leroy Merlin, my favourite DIY store :) bedroom was massive and quiet with black-out blinds so i had a great night's sleep. bathroom was huge and spotless, great retro hairdryer on the wall to play with. check in staff really friendly and patient with my attempt at speaking portuguese, being terrible at spanish. would very happily stay here again. ordered a quick coffee in morning which i took straight back to room whilst packing and cleaner helped me with the door and a big smile. didn't try food or any other facilities.

For us as international travellers we would have liked one or two English speaking channels on the TV.

The hotel was situated on the edge of Salamanca. An excellent continental breakfast was served for Euros6. There was plenty of parking outside the hotel for our car . The Cathedral ,Roman Bridge and the town were within walking distance.. The room was comfortable with a balcony. The hotel was dog friendly. and next door to an Aldi supermarket.. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The parts of the hotel we saw felt more more basic than I expected for a 4 star. The rooms were quite basic and the beds were ok. We didn't have breakfast included but also we weren't offered it, so I'm not sure whether that was an option or not.

The location was good for us with plenty of outside parking. The gardens looked nice from what we saw. The staff were friendly. Rooms were clean.

The walls were cardboard thin and the couple in the room next to hours 'performed' from 3am until 6am which was not appreciated when we had a long drive the following day as it woke us up and kept us awake!

The pool, after a long drive was very much appreciated and the garden restaurant was a lovely in the evening with a good menu and helpful staff.
