On arrival, we were a few hours in advance of check in. I understand early check in is not always possible and I don't automatically expect it. However we were told there was a room available, if we would pay an extra €40 for early check in. This is just silly in my opinion. We were already paying €300 per night for a four-night stay. Is it really necessary to charge an extra €40 for early check in on top of that? This kind of unnecessary policy could impact brand loyalty from customers. I should note that in the end, we were allowed to check in three hours early without paying the extra charge, which was a good gesture of customer service and this was appreciated.

We had a four-night stay here during the Primavera festival and enjoyed it very much. The hotel is located on Avenue Diagonal at the top of Rambla del Poblenou, which runs down to the seafront. This is a great location! You can find everything you need on Rambla del Poblenou - bakeries, restaurants, bars, grocery stores, takeaways. It is a bustling area with a local feel. The hotel itself is good too. A nice lobby area with cafe/restaurant attached. Staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was on floor 10 with a view of the city and, in one corner, Sagrada Família. The room was a nice size with a good desk for catching up with work and a large, comfortable bed. The air conditioning worked well.

The location was incredible. Enjoyed stepping out of the hotel to streets lined with cafes and restaurants. Great atmosphere. Very welcoming staff who were on hand to help with recommendations.

Breakfast buffet was fantastic! Staff was very helpful and friendly. The location was perfect for us but not in the normal touristy area. Wonderful beach was a 15-30 minute walk along the promenade. It was perfect!l

The staff was excellent. We had several and they were always helpful. The breakfast was great as it got us going in the morning. The room was OK. Seemed a little outdated. I would have liked a soap dish in the shower since I prefer real soao to liquid soap.

The staff was amazing. Very helpful and informative and friendly. The location was not as touristy, which we liked. It’s a short walk to the beach. The neighborhood has lots of restaurants. Taxis are easy to get to take you to the tourist sites. We loved it.

An ideal hotel, with incredibly helpful staff for both check-in and acting as concierge for tickets and taxis. The staff from trainees to the manager were wonderful and they went out of their way to show hospitality. Great mattresses, good room, upscale feel, good breakfast, great location., and with strong wifi. It was only a nice walk to the double-decker bus, the La Sagrada Familia, and the beach with an active boardwalk.
