Location is quite far from Marbella city center. Some facilities in the apartment is old and in need of an update.

Spacious apartment. Complete amenity and facilities. Very accommodating and friendly staff. Quiet and upscale neighbourhood. Offers a beautiful view of the coast.

Lack of attention to guests renting an apartment, the pool was always cleaned and opened rather late in the morning.

The side of the resort where my apartment was, was nice and clean and quiet, the other side that is a timeshare was messy and crowded.

We stayed at Club Calahonda but the reception was at Club Marbella. The instructions where not clear enough about where to check in and arriving late at night caused unwanted stress.

The reception was in another condo, the pool was not heated, the first provided non-smoking apartment with access to elevator was smelling heavy cigarette smoke so the reception could only offer another apartment with no elevator access on second floor. They were very fast though to send staff with the new key. The boiler in the smaller room's wardrobe dropped when hot water was used, the kettle leaked and new sheets were only placed in a plastic bag after 3 days and we had to change sheets. The cleaning was done and sheets changed by house keeping after a week though.

Both bedrooms had separate bathrooms, easy parking facilities, friendly and helpful reception staff, with issues we got help without any delay. Well equipped kitchen for a holiday cooking

No on site reception so we had to check in to the other Crown Resort apartments to collect and drop of keys. Also no sun loungers at the pool side. Signage could improve to navigate to the apartments on the first visit and a key drop box would have been useful.

Dodgy door locks , got locked out for 2 hours one night but the technician was fab & got us in eventually!! No staff on site so a bit awkward if problems occur No loungers , maybe this will change this summer

I asked for a late departure at 1200 noon instead of 1000am and was told it couldn’t be done - I was prepared to have paid an extra amount for this.

The apartment appointed to me was just what I had asked for , ground floor with easy access to pool area. The apartment was spacious, clean and well stocked with utensils.

The first day the air conditioning did not work and the next two days the water from the air conditioner came through the roof of the apartment.

Had to pick up keys from the other hotel which no one informed us about prior to arrival. We had to ask other guests to find this out. The other hotel is a 20 minute walk up a steep hill with all our luggage. Room was never cleaned or towels / sheets changed during our 7 night stay. No reception. ( it’s at the other hotel) No bar or shop facility. No music or any form of entertainment. None of this was advised up front. We nicknamed the hotel faulty towers because of the problems - outside metal shutters were still locked on our arrival, no hot water, ac wasn’t working - this all required calls to reception at the other hotel. Cold water also stopped working twice during our stay. We had a ground floor apartment and the front door had a huge gap from the floor meaning we had to push a towel along the bottom at night for fear of cockroaches coming in en mass. Other apartments had a wooden wedge nailed at the front to prevent this.

noisy - could hear other people above below and either side - late at night after midnight! place looks tired and worn - very basic accommodation - no bar just pool - asked to move to other resort which they kindly did and all was good for rest of week
