Gym was in another building, which was like a 10 minute walk. I guess it's a good warm-up but I would like for it to have been in the hotel itself.

An attractive very modern looking lobby set the keynote for this first rate establishment which had its own garage (a big help). Superb staff at reception. A very nice family atmosphere. Beautiful hallways (these make a difference). Light filled room. Very good restaurant in the evening, a lifesaver. The restaurant scene in Tarragona is far from the hotel and hard to fathom and on St. Tekla weekend it is a nightmare, leading visitors to fear that they will starve.

the “spa” expected completely different when shown on booking photos only one photo up close of jacuzzi was shown when to arrive jacuzzi was shut a pool that didn’t look too pleasant to go in. would have expected a little better since jacuzzi photo looked really nice and working

I requested a double bed but was given a twin room. I realise it wasn't guaranteed but I feel solo travellers always get lumped in the twin room. I was pretty disappointed with this -the staff did try to resolve this, but no rooms were available. Also, The beds weren't the most comfy as they were lumpy but okay for a couple of nights. The shower gel had run out in my room (i didn't have a chance to report this). Not enough plug sockets!

Staff were really friendly and clearly worked extremely hard as reception was always very busy. Location was ideal near the bus station and 10-15 mins walk to the beach, at the top of the main rambla. Also very handy for taxis to the airport. Nice big towels and good selection of bathroom extras (toothbrushes etc). Everywhere felt pretty clean overall. Nice bathroom area with giant full length mirror. The pool area looked clean and good although it was very busy so I didn't use it

Helpful, friendly staff. Big room. Lots of restaurants and supermarkets nearby. 24 hour front desk. My room was ready 2 hours early so I checked in at 13.00 instead of having to wait until 15.00

Terrible toilet paper is a false economy. Why do some hotels do this ? . Everything else was fine.

Location is perfect and the hotel offers good value accommodation. Breakfast was ok. Eggs and bacon were lovely and the staff were very friendly

Bathroom was a bit tired which made it feel unclean. I read a review about the lack of plugs in the room and laughed. But honestly it's true and very inconvenient. I ended up unplugging two lamps so we could charge phones but they weren't near the beds, take an extension lead or portable charger.

Great location. Food was yummy. Very comfy bed. Quiet and not too busy.

no kettle in the room so no tea or coffee in the morning when first waking up. mini bar had 2 bottles of water nothing else. air conditioning advertised but only works during certain months
