Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomNoise from the motorway. Not central and need to get a few metros or one bus to the hotel.
It was comfortable and clean. One bus ride H14 into central Barcelona. We only stayed one night but it has a late midday checkout which was really helpful when arriving late the night before. Good value for summer time.

CroatiaLocation is very good, public transport is nearby. We used their paid parking, everything was alright, even though you have free parking under the motorway, but we weren't sure if it was safe. Air conditioning in the room was very good.

United KingdomThe surrounding area isn’t the best, directly next to a heavily congested highway bridge. Lots of people wandering around late at night, a little bit of an intimidating area. Thin walls and windows so you could hear everything. There was mixed messages with the booking- breakfast was included and it stated food available 24/7 including room service. But I was told at 10pm that they had stopped serving and when I went for breakfast at 7am the lady on the counter shrugged and said no. So I paid €3 for a crossiant and a latte. According to reviews the breakfast offer was exactly that.
Just outside the city centre, lots of shops nearby for food. Open all hours. Close to beach and ideal for a short term stay.

United KingdomThe negatives are the nearby beach need cleaning and is not great in general. Belladona is about half hour/40 minutes walk which is nice and pleasant but the road to get there is not fabulous. I requested a quiet room and was given one with view on the motorway. Thankfully the next day was a bank Holiday and i was so tired anyway that i had a good night.
the room was clean and confortable. the bathroom was fine too. Big enough for 2 but i was on my own. The double bed was confortable. The hotel has a bar/restaurant but i didn't use it. There is a street behind the hotel with a good choice of shops and restaurants. Very lively in the evening with the locals. Nice atmosphere. The hotel is easy to find from the subways as it is on the same road. Not far from La Sagrada familia on the subway. T

GermanyThe bedroom was clean, but the bathroom could really use some work. Especially the shower needs to be renovated. The employes don't speak much English. But we was able to communicate.
We were in the city most of our time so we didn't spend much time at the Hotel. If you look for a cheap place to sleep this is good option. Takes you about 15 -30 minutes into the city, depending on where you want to go. There is a bus all nightlong, which stops directly in front of the hotel. Many nice and cheap Cafes places around the corner.

United KingdomThis is no fault of the hotel itself however it is close to a motorway so it was very loud in the evening.
The hotel room had everything you needed and it was a comfortable stay. It had good transport links, despite being further from Barcelona it was only one metro into the city.

BelgiumThe rooms were not so soundproof. We were able to hear the upstairs neighbor coming home in the evening. So it was noisy at night for half an hour. But aside from that no sounds that bothered us too much. We were able to sleep well.
Very friendly. Cheaper than most, and also a good value for the money. I would recommend this place. It's a good hotel to stay for a short period and on a lower budget. The breakfast was nice. We had a choice out of a couple of different things. Not a buffet but tasty nonetheless. I had a croissant and a fruit juice. The check-in is open till midnight. We arrived around 10 pm and were able to process everything quickly. The staff was really nice and helpful.

EstoniaThe walls are paper-thin, we heard neighbours watching TV, using the bathroom, moving the furniture, etc. The hotel is located next to a busy road, so if you don’t like noise, don’t forget your earplugs. The bathroom door didn’t close, because the door is too small for the frame, so we used towels to seal the gaps and keep the door closed.
The hotel is far from the city centre, but it has a good connection by metro, tram and bus. The staff was friendly, although ladies in the cafeteria speak poor English.
