Be warned parking is a zoo and highly competitive around the hotel which is situated back off the main road. I was lucky in that I found a spot on a nearby side road. Let's say the furniture and finish are utilitarian, this is a simple hotel with no affectations!

Given that it is a huge hotel, they managed the breakfast buffet well, with several buffet stations. It is a bit dated with a 1980s feel but everything in the room was functional and clean. It is a very family-oriented 3 star hotel, geared up for kids and primarily catering for Spanish Holidaymakers. It has direct access to the Mar Menor lagoon, which is great for small kids but too shallow and warm for swimming, best to cross to the Mediterranean side beaches for swimming etc.

Paying for a sunbed . Should be free . They were very old and broken. We only used the pool once because of this .

Amazing view from the balcony .mar menor to the left pool below and the sea and strip to the right . We could watch the entertainment from our balcony . Location was brilliant . Breakfast not that great apart from the fruit which was good . We were the only English people in the hotel and there was no English tv which we would have liked for the euro football. Rooms are dated . Would not rate this a 4 star hotel but it is good value and the hotel is busy and popular .

For the price of the hotel I would have thought they would supply shower gel and shampoo. Some kid had vomited in the pool and it was stuck near the steps, it took them a long time get round to cleaning it out. Lots of screaming kids, so if you are a couple looking for a quiet place this is not for you.

That it is pretty much on the beach. Views are awesome. Staff are super friendly. Strong shower with plenty of hot water. No issues with lifts. Cleaners are keen and the room was very clean. Massive pool.

Yes, some of the facilities are outdated, but working and in perfect condition! The only reason I am giving an 8 and not a 10 is because most of the time you are waiting 2-3 minutes for the elevator, which is a bit annoying.

Great staff, amazing location, beautiful views and delicious food! I was afraid how our vacation will go because of all the bas review, but from the second we arrived I was happily surprised! We had a small issue with the rent a car so one part of our group arrived at night and they were even offered food at 3:00 in the morning! Staff was very helpful and friendly (which for me was a big surprise because every time I am in Spain staff is not friendly at all) I would definitely stay again in this hotel if decide to go back in La Manga! To everyone that are having a step back to book because of the bad comments, don’t hesitate and book the hotel to have one amazing family vacation!

Beds were hard, single glazed so could hear everything outside and also inside. 3 lifts for 14 floors. We walked down every day but sometimes (depending on time of day; breakfast/lunch/dinner) we waited 10 minutes for a lift to go up as we weren’t walking up all those stairs. Breakfast was very limited.

Location was great, beach 2 minutes away and lagoon beach directly behind the hotel. Restaurant was clean. We didn’t use the paddle boards etc but there were plenty to hire. Pool was clean and tidy.

The swimming pool had black mould in most areas and had hair floating in it. So not sure if the filter was working and it definitely needed chlorine.

In some moments, at the restaurant the staff is unable to attend the people and they need to run in several moments. There is so much noise at the restaurant and in some moments quite crowded

We booked a twin room and got a double. I was with my mother. We checked in very late in the night and was on the 8th floor so didn’t go back to reception to change rooms. The room decor is a bit dated and tired.

There was plenty parking, the hotel in general was good, right next to the lagoon.

1. Absolutely no vegies at the breakfast. 2. Neighbors complained that we made noise, but we were just talking and nothing else. I think that the walls are very thin. 3. Receptionist Antonio can be nicer. Whenever he is asked about something, the answer is "No" unless you ask several times. For example, he gave me 50 cent coins for Billiards which are not accepted, I doubt that he does not know about this. 4. Even though Animation team are working hard, their evening entertainment is a kindergarten level, absolutely amateur. We have been to many other hotels around the world and this is one of the worst animations.

The hotel is in urgent need of renovation! It has a great potential as it was nearly at 100% occupancy every day but everything is very old; bedroom furniture, curtains , bathroom (especially hair dryer!) all needs a refresh! The pool didn't feel very clean, and we didn't like the fact that the hotel was was full of sometimes 'screaming' children :( this should be mentioned to customers during the booking process to be able to make a wiser choice! Dinner time should also start much earlier from 19:00hrs as not everyone can have dinner so late and it would help ease the long queues! Actual dinner choices were very limited and mainly catered to kids (i.e nuggets, spaghetti, burgers) We expected to see more Spanish dishes such as paellas, meats etc.

Very friendly, welcoming and accommodating Reception staff! The salads on the buffet are nice and fresh and the desserts are delicious!
