To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

SerbiaI was a bit surprised by a small detail regarding the bathroom amenities. While the bathroom was kept impeccably clean and the towels were changed regularly, I noticed that the shower gel and shampoo were not refilled during my stay. This wasn't a major issue for me, but it was unexpected, especially considering the otherwise high standards of maintenance in the apartment.
I had the pleasure of staying at this apartment for a few days. I was impressed by the cleanliness of the place. The kitchen is well-equipped with all the necessary appliances and utensils, making it perfect for those who prefer to prepare their own meals. Whether it was preparing breakfast or a small dinner, I found everything I needed at my fingertips. Location-wise, this apartment is a gem. Situated near the city center, it is surrounded by an array of cafes and restaurants, offering a variety of dining options.

Staff was AMAZING. Do you have a better hair drier? Sure, here is a box with a new one. Do you have an extension cord for my laptop? Here you go! They printed out EVERY ticket for every attraction we went to. They respected the time when we wanted the apartment cleaned. They pre-heated the room for us. They have a 24-hour open reception desk. They stored our luggage on the last day and let us use the bathroom before picking it up. I can not praise them hard enough. The apartment was quiet, both rooms facing the yard. You have a dish washer and a washing machine, although I would not recommend using them because they are worn out. Lots of space, an iron, ironing board, rack for drying the clothes, fully equipped kitchen. Location is PERFECT!

United KingdomThere was a fan(?) making a lot of noise when we were turning on the temperature. Another small thing but I do believe would be nice to have coffee pods refilled for us daily and also have for all 5 of us instead of less.
They were two bathrooms, which made it much easier for the amount of people that we were in. Comfy beds, perfect location and very clean place.

SwedenA confortable flat with all needed provided. The kitchen and washing machine got very handy with the kids. Big windows allowing the sun to enter but with the possibility to lower an efficient system of blinds if needed. The rooms were made everyday: a pleasant combination of the advantages of a flat with hotel services. Perfect location at walking distance from the gothic quarter, but also very close from transportations. The hotel staff was extremely nice and very helpful.

Nearby there are a couple of local cafes and bakeries where you can have breakfast and continue your tour of the city.

Great apartment with a quite well equipped if small kitchen. The bed was comfortable and daily servicing was a treat. We found the location great as first time visitors to Barcelona, walking distance to everything within around 20 minutes. Brilliant cafe just down the street on the corner and a great little sup within about two minutes walk.
