Amazing homemade breakfast and dinner. Drove us to the Camino the next day and even to pilgrims mass at 7pm. Comfortable and clean rooms with lovely touches. No complaints! Highly recommend.

Nothing to fault.

Our host and hostess were so welcoming and helpful. We were picked up from the monastery at Armenteira for the short drive to Carbello de Prado 1900, where we were checked in and had our pilgrim credencials stamped with a lovely wax seal. Our room was very comfortable, with windows that open to let in fresh air. Our host provided transport back to the monastery for the pilgrim mass that evening and then provided a wonderful home-cooked meal for dinner. We were returned by car to the monastery to recommence walking the camino the next morning after an excellent breakfast. I highly recommend Carbello de Prado 1900 and would definitely stay there again.

The family were so friendly and helpful. They collected me from 2 miles away as I was walking the camino and then dropped me back there very early the next morning. I forgot my camera and they even went and found it and brought it to me, left to early for breakfast but was given a wonderful picinic which kept me going all day! one of the most amazing night stop overs of my portugese camion

Everything was perfect

We loved the tranquil location and the warmth and friendliness of hosts Ana and Carlos. They kindly collected us from the Monastery, took us back for Vespers, and returned us to the Monastery the next morning. We appreciated this so much. The bedrooms were beautifully appointed, had comfy beds and pillows and we all slept so well. There were extra touches of thoughtfulness in the homemade biscuits in cellophane by the beds, the teabags and a drinking water station with hot and cold water . Would recommend 100% . We loved our stay there

Beautiful location in the countryside. Great patio to sit out on and enjoy the sunset with a glass of wine. Delicious breakfast included and tasty dinner if you wanted to order it. The staff were delightful. Nothing was too much trouble. They were happy to pick us up and drop us off at the Armenteira Monastery from where we continued our walk.

Off the Camino but they pick you up and drop you off right at the trailhead the next morning.

The hosts were so accommodating and helpful. We were there in poor weather, they brought out heaters etc. Helped us make our boat booking that we needed in a few days along the Camino. Great dinner and breakfast. Lovely!

The rooms are very close to each other and when guest book in later than the normal check-in time it can be a problem when they are not discreetly and quiet when they enter to their room as one can hear all the movements form the central passage in your room.

Lovely veranda from where one can enjoy the peaceful setting in a rural surrounding. The owners were very friendly and helpful with transport to Armenteira monastery and prepared a lovely breakfast for us the next morning. It was a pity they did not serve dinner as I understand meals are very good at Carballo de Prado, but the owner did take us to the nearby restaurant for a meal in the evening.

Carlos picked us up from the Monastery, took us to evening Mass and returned us to the Camino in the morning. The food Anna cooked was delicious. They both work so exceptionally hard. Accommodation was extremely comfortable and very clean. I would recommend Carbello de Prado 1900 to everyone. Thank you Carlos & Ana.

We loved this place! Close to the Camino. Clean and new looking. Comfortable beds. Breakfast included in the morning. A place to hang up your laundry. Plus, they offered a ride from the monestary, where the camino path is, and back the next morning.

The room was a bit cold for me. The weather has been damp and cool, and I think the room would have benefited from a little heat just to chase away the damp.

Beautiful property and guest accommodations. The hosts are super nice and we felt well taken care of. The room and bathroom were spacious. The bed was comfortable.
