the only bad thing was the cleaning, the same “dirty” areas (bathroom & bedroom) have been there for all 5 days, also we had lots of dark hair everywhere (we are blonde)

good location, good wifi connection, nice staff, and the beds are super comfortable - big plus point! i really enjoyed my stay and will definitely come back here in the future!

Non- gluten food took too long to be replenished. Had to keep asking for bread, and for bowls, for fruit and cereal

Stylish, modern and very clean. Room and balcony was very spacious. Good powerful shower, and fluffy white towels. All staff wonderful - special shout out to Monica. Ideal place to just relax

The pool was warm, but we mostly went to the sea, floor in the room could have been vaccum cleaned better;

The hotel is beautiful, it has new facilities and a nice pool. Breakfast and dinner were amazing, with many options in a nice restaurant. The hotel has an elevator. It is close to the sandy beach and 20 min walk from a beautiful cave which is absolutely recommended (the cave is not accessible for wheelchair users though, has many stairs.)

Excellent food, some of the best I've had at an inclusive hotel. Nice relaxing atmosphere, however the town is very small so you need to travel if you're looking for any active night life / activities. Lovely beach very close to the hotel. Overall would highly recommend for a chill getaway.

As the bathrooms were not fully enclosed, you could hear noise from other rooms through the drains.

Pool maintenance needs to be more regular, during the 5 days there I couldn’t see evidence of pool beds/floor being cleaned. Scum line on the pool needed cleaning as greasy from dirt and suncream. Tile broken on steps into main pool that I sliced my finger open on. The bubbles on the pool loungers all day is too noisy if relaxing around the pool, most people preferred them when the bubbles were turned off. Not a complaint but something to be aware of, the bathrooms in the double rooms are not separate from the room, shower and toilet are separated by frosted glass, so not great if sharing with someone you might want some privacy from.

Staff were friendly and professional, double room was well appointed and nice view over the pool. Staff in dining room were excellent and food was very good for buffet, very good for identifying allergens and the show cooking provided some lovely choices for dinner. Great location to go to the beach for a dip in the sea and close for a scenic walk to the nearby caves. Small supermarket a minutes walk away.

It’s been a relaxing and stress free stay which we thoroughly enjoyed.

We rented a junior suite which is in a building 3 minutes walking distance from the main hotel building. There was a pool on the rooftop of our building which was nice. The main pool and breakfast room are in the main hotel building but we didn’t mind the little walk. The room was large, with nice furniture, a massive balcony, very clean, quiet. There is a small gym in this building too. The pool in the main building is large and very relaxing. We spent time there when the waves were too high. You only need to cross a small street to get from the main pool to the beach. There is a more crowded area od the beach and a less crowded one which we enjoyed with our own umbrella. None of the hotels in Canyamel have their own private beach. The hotel gives free beach towels. Breakfast was excellent and varied. Staff was welcoming and helpful.

The only possible fault I could think of was the coffee in the restaurant. Not the nicest coffee. But I had to think hard to find something negative.

Lovely location, quiet & clean. Excellent pool area (with the additional pools for the suits to access). Food was exceptional. Reasonably priced wine and beer, lunch was the same. Rooms were roomy and modern, quiet and clean. Staff were helpful and friendly.

The Hotel is a bit isolated so there’s nowhere to walk to in the evening. I wish someone would have played the lovely piano in the bar!

We had a wonderful stay at Canyamel Park last week. The staff were all so friendly and helpful and the food is excellent! So much choice!! Out side pool is lovely and plenty of sun beds. We particularly liked the location right near to the beach. Would definitely recommend

Location was lovely, close to beach and all amenities. Plenty of sun beds and seating round the pool. Breakfast choices were first class. Catering to every taste❤️we chose the b&b option as we like to go out in the evenings. I loved the Spa treating myself to a massage and manicure, staff were all very friendly and helpful, loved my chat with Christine😊Thank you for a lovely stay.

Minutes walk from a great beach. Lifeguard on duty, nice shallow sandy shore, with 2 nice beach bars with good food. German influenced menus at most places in the resort, best we found was Bonanza!

Wish there was Spanish music nights, it would make it feel more authentic and it would make it for a nice break from the English songs.

Beautiful hotel, great location and very friendly staff. We throughly enjoyed our time here, it’s located in a quiet town, perfect for relaxing, with a few good restaurants and shops around. The beach is just a minute away and the pool and spa were quite pleasant all day around. Breakfast it’s great, plenty of variety to choose from and dinner options change every evening. We highly recommend it if you want an hassle free and relaxing sunny break.

Our only issue was the location. It would be perfect for someone wanting to relax and enjoy a quiet holiday. However, there are only 1 or 2 small restaurants and shops nearby. We had to rent a car to travel to nearby towns for the evenings or trips to various beaches. The hotel were more than happy to arrange car hire also. Other than location, the hotel was great!

Property was clean, staff were friendly and helpful. The food was good and a wide variety. The pool facilities and spa were good also. The beach was only a stones throw away.
