Desk staff were friendly and very helpful. Check in and out was quick and painless. The location is ideal. Steps away from the Opera metro. Less than a ten minute walk to Puerta del Sol, Royal Palace and Plaza Mayor. Room was clean and good size for Europe. Breakfast was very good. A good selection of breakfast items.

The hotel is small, so all rooms are on two floors. If you're a light sleeper, this might be a problem. The bathroom is one of those with sliding glass doors with the sink on the other side of the room.

Located on a side street, yet close to the sights. Walking distance to the metro and there's a supermarket next door.

Clean rooms with everything needed. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, kettle, fridge, bottled water, coffee, tea. 24 desk staff, very helpful and friendly. Lovely choice and long breakfast service from 7-12. Clean, friendly and excellent location, safe metro very close by.

The room looked very sterile and a bathroom a bit old, could use some colour, paint and an upgrade. No coffee machine in the room only a water boiler, no refill of water bottle. Breakfast was terrible, many items finished and staff not attentive. Had to ask for everything. When I asked about yoghurt on Saturday I was told it was out and will not come until Monday. Quality poor, no real egs. We stayed here because we stayed at the Room Mate Macarena last year and it was great. Unfortunately this was a completely different experience. Would not stay here again.

The rooms are very very small, it felt very claustrophobic. The first room I was in had a loud clicking noise all through the night. (Room 110). The staff were very helpful and moved me to a different room which was much better.

The staff were very helpful, the room was clean, the breakfast was excellent, including the breakfast room which had lovely windows with a view to Madrid street.

The small size of the bathroom and the stairs were black and not too well lit.

Nice hotel, in a good location close to the Theatre Royal and the Royal Palace, also interesting and historic parts of the city. The bedroom itself was of a decent size but the bathroom was small and could be a problem for anyone of a larger size.The staff were nice and friendly and the breakfast was good.

Our room was on the street and street cleaning once night was loud. Also there was an internal wall lighting system that creaked as it cooled down- so the trick was to turn off that light well before going to bed.

Excellent location, large comfortable bed, both shampoo AND conditioner- something we did not see in some hotels. Nice breakfast buffet.

The rooms are small and lack sufficient space. Bottled water can be provided daily. Besides the inadequate insulation of the walls, we heard another guest snoring from the neighboring room all night. The smell coming from the toilet.

The location of the hotel is nice - 2 minutes to Opera metro station and 5 minutes walking distance to the Royal Palace of Madrid. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful - especially the receptionist girls were quite ready to help. Thank you chicas!! 😊 The rooms were nicely cleaned, and the amenities provided were of good quality. The room was spacious, but not very convenient in terms of storage space. We brought 2 suitcases, but couldn't find a place to put the larger one. The bed was large and comfortable. On the first day of our stay, bottled water was provided, but it was stated that it couldn't be provided for the other days of our stay. Since we preferred not to drink tap water, even though they couldn't provide bottled water, they allowed us to fill our bottles from the water dispenser at the reception. The breakfast was varied and delicious. The fact that breakfast service lasted until 12 was an extra convenience. Unfortunately, there was a bad smell coming from the toilet, and when we came out and entered the room, we were exposed to this bad smell. Since we were only staying for 2 days, we didn’t request a room change, but when we mentioned the situation to the receptionist, they expressed their willingness to help and said that if we allowed, they would enter the room to check it. As an alternative, they mentioned that they could give us another room to sleep in by leaving our belongings in the current room. We didn’t want to bother, but when we returned to the room, the smell had significantly decreased.​

Loved everything.

This hotel is nice. I especially like the location. This hotel is around the corner from the palace. Lots of restaurants, grocery store, public transportation, taxis, and tuktuk tour available within feet of this hotel. Rooms are modern, warm, and beds are comfy. The grocery store is right next to the t door. Recommend this hotel.

All the beds were comfy, except for ours. We had 2 twin beds pushed together, as requested. But, we both had a significant lean to the mattress, which made it a little uncomfortable trying to position yourself. We were only there 2 nights, so we didn't complain. Overall, we would stay here again!

Great location!! Very friendly staff!! Breakfast was really good with a lot of options! We had 3 rooms. The rooms were clean, very up-to-date and the water pressure was great! A fully stocked bar was available, along with a kettle for coffee and/or tea. They had chocolates and a handwritten welcome note. A nice touch!
