I didn't like the environment. I found the owner a little rude. In my opinion, what matters is only the money, we need clean towels and he treated us very badly, saying that it is not a 5-star hotel. Not being a 5-star hotel does not mean ostracizing customers, we feel humiliated and ashamed. I will never return to this inn that he calls a hotel. not to mention that it feels like we were being watched all the time. We didn't feel comfortable in that place. Maybe others will like it, but we were disappointed.

Only one bath towel in the room gave you a choice to dry your body or use it as a mat I chose to dry my body no face towels no medium size towels just 0+1 towels- AC unit was very noisy. Room had a slight odor, but I was happy. They didn’t use perfume or floral scent to cover it. That makes me crazy. Just a little clean or help us roam a lot.

Guy at the reception was very friendly. Hotel is very close to the beach and restaurants. Room was ok, nothing fancy, but all worked. Walls are very tiny, but it was without problems, guest were ok. Bus stop to Barcelona 20 metres from the door, very convenient.

The bathroom always smelt the entire time that we were there, the plumping was good enough but there is clearly an issue with the water that needs resolving. Also, when we were trying to sleep in the night, there were some other guests who had clearly been drinking, that kept walking loudly up and down the stairs when we were trying to sleep. There should be perhaps be some gentle requests to any Hotel guests, which is keep the noise down when in the corridor and consider other guests.

I thought the receptionist was very friendly, attentive and efficient. The bed was really comfortable, the location was brilliant right by the beach, the balcony had a nice view as well. It was also nice of the receptionist to give us an upgrade to a room with a balcony.

The stairs were difficult even without luggage and the AC wasn't on when we arrived so the room was quite warm plus we only had one key for the two of us.

The staff were extremely helpful; we were on the 3rd floor which is 6 flights of skinny stairs to get to with 3 bags each to carry. The staff helped us carry the bags up the stairs, called taxis to get one of our bags that had broken replaced and to the airport the next morning. They also were there to ensure we got down on time in the morning and to help carry the bags down the stairs. It was very appreciated and made a trip that started stressful much less so.

Check-in was a little hard and the receptionist tried to talk me into moving to another nearby hotel that wasn't on the beach. So many people smoke right at the bar's windows that the whole bar was too smoky to hang around in.

It was really good value and the location's perfect. The bar downstairs is very welcoming. The rooms are spartan, but clean, and it's great to have an ensuite bathroom. I'd booked a room with a single bed, but was given one with a double bed. The TV worked fine and so did the shower.

For the price and the location, I can’t criticise the hotel as it served our needs very well.

Joaquin the manager was very welcoming, helpful and keen to give good customer service. Also, there is a bus stop literally opposite the hotel and for €2.50 you can take the bus to the centre of Barcelona - brilliant!
