Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

BelgiumUnfortunately our 2-nights stay reservation was split into two different apartments but the issue was tackled in a timely and professional manner, both upfront and during our stay.
We had an amazing time in Barcelona during our stay at the BCN Rambla Catalunya Apartments. The apartments are spacious and beautiful, clean and comfortable. They are ideal to welcome groups of friends or family members; they are modern, well appointed and fully equipped. The views are stunning. The location is also ideal! We all enjoyed it very much and were somewhat sad that we didn’t have more time indoors during our stay :-) Besides the appartements, we’d also like to highlight the great communication and customer service ! It was fluid, relevant, fast and friendly - the staff is ready to help and accommodating. Thank you! In conclusion, we’d be happy to come back and we highly recommend it for your trip in Barcelona!

DenmarkSoundproof windows might be nice - but for us it was not a problem.
What a lovely stay we had! We stayed in the Colonial apartment and it was perfect for our family of two teens and mum and dad. The staff is very helpful and friendly, and communication through whatsapp was very easy. We had a late checkin (with a fee) and it was smooth and easy to access out keys. We will definetely recommend BCN and this apartment (bring ear plugs as it is a lively street with restaurants).

United StatesThis flat was in a great location on the Ramblas. The key pick up was super easy as the office was in the same building as the flat. The flat fit 8 of us comfortably and was very pretty. The showers in this place were amazing. Very hot and lots of water pressure. The best we had on the trip.

Contact was done mainly through Whatsapp, which was simple and efficient. The location is incredible, surrounded by the fancy shops of Barcelona with plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. CanadaThis is not a normal hotel, so if the arrival time is not within their normal check-in time, then it could be a problem. There is no room cleaning either. We have to throw out the garbage ourselves. This is more like an Airbnb property.
Location is excellent. It is close to everything including shops and restaurants. This is not a normal hotel so we can only contact them during normal business hours. They are very responsive with Whatsapp though. Kitchen is fully stocked which is very convenient.

Hong KongThe wall is too yellow. Also, there is a quite terrible picture on the wall that a man always stares on you. It made us feel not comfortable. There is a elevator but there are still few steps that we need to take our heavy luggage upstair. Besides, 500 Euro deposit is a bit expensive.
Spacious and clean with balcony. Can use washing machine and hanger. Good location with 5 mins walk to Diagonal or Provença Station. Quite silence and have a good sleep. The owner is responsive to enquiries.

Staff where helpful and gave good information regarding keys etc. Very charming old building, a lot of very nice restaurants just around the corner. Excellent location with great food/coffee/cocktail options nearby. The beds were very comfortable and our apartment, on the rear courtyard, was extremely quiet. Classic old building with high ceilings and intricate tile floors. Communication with the staff was terrific.
