Stairs - I knew about them when I booked so was not a problem but thought this should be clear to anyone booking. Shower-drain was blocked so water didn’t drain out quickly. Cristina advised and she answered that she will clear it. No big deal but should be kept clear at all times

Outside/approach was not what we expected. Accessed via a random door on the street in a slightly dark street, stairwell was a bit dark and small. Only 2 apartments? Very noisy during night as in the heart of the gothic area. Overall, apartment, its handy location and great atmosphere made up for these things though.

Lovely, clean apartment with ideal space for 2 friends travelling together. Location great for accessing the city. Being in gothic quarter had great atmosphere. Host very friendly and helpful.

The apartment is on the second floor - narrow, steep staircase - made moving luggage difficult. Having to phone to arrange collection of the keys Small shower, slippery exit from shower

They gave us early check-in and were willing to give us a somewhat later check-out (which we didn't use in the end). The apartment had windows on both sides, lovely breeze through.

Not a problem for us but but please bear in mind that there are 3 flights of steep stairs up to the flat.

Location is excellent. Really central but quiet. Shops, restaurants and bars just minutes walk from the front door. Also felt very safe in the day and night. 2 double bedrooms (a double and 2 singles) suited us and the kitchen was simple but all that we needed as we only had breakfast in the flat. Beds comfy. Flat clean and nice with 2 very small balconies if the weather is sunny - good for a coffee / glass of wine. Easy walking (less than 15 mins) to many local sightseeing areas - cathedral, las ramblas, marina, beach, gardens etc. Cristina was very welcoming and offered great tips on places to eat.

Despite double glazing, at times was noisy during the night due to people talking and shouting after a night out.

It's just that there is no lift, and we're on the 3rd floor.... water in the toilet bowl is leaking in the floor... no extra trash bag, so we had the trash can overflowing

There are lots of steps up to the top apartment, so not for the faint hearted, however for us, it was worth it to have the terrace

The stairs are quite narrow and there's no lift, so if you're arriving with huge bags you may struggle! We had backpacks so it wasn't too difficult. It would also have been great to have a bit of laundry detergent to use in the washing machine, but there are shops nearby that sell it if you're desperate.

These are really spacious, clean apartments in the centre of the Gothic Quarter. Cute shops, bars, restaurants, La Rambla main street and a couple of metro stops are all a short walk away. The WiFi worked well, and Cristina was super friendly and helpful with answering our questions. This was definitely a great deal, and cheaper than a lot of similar apartments around the city.

3 floors of stairs to go up, no lift. Shower was horrific.

Location was excellent, close to metro. Bed and sofa were comfortable. The layout of the place was done really well. It was nice to have a washing machine and dryer. The little balconies were nice.
