I didn't at the hotel as preferred to eat out and go alfresco. I did use the terrace bar but didn't rate as a great experience mainly due to having a payment machine in my face when I ordered drinks. I could have spoken up but staff didn't seem concerned if I was staying or anybody. On leaving he hotel could hsve done with a smile and thank you for staying or look forward to seeing you again all I got was nothing to pay. Small things matter.

The room was really comfortable and quiet. We liked the roof terrace and the location very much. The taxi rank outside the hotel was extremely convenient.

Love this hotel. It’s well - it’s out of the city but an easy bus or taxi ride in. Opposite the amazing Biopark and close to the port and beach.

We liked everything

We loved the location. We didn’t have breakfast because our friends don’t eat breakfast We used the restaurant at night and thought the food was excellent The room was very big We loved the roof bar You should encourage people to use the restaurant as we don’t speak Spanish we found the local restaurants didn’t cater for us.

There was a very rude girl on the reception, only 1 rude girl and everyone else was fine but unfortunately all 19 of us were ‘greeted’ by the rude one. It’s a pity the roof bar didn’t stay open later, it is amazing.

The sliding wall which cut off all noise from the corridor and the breakfast is 5 star….I never had better.

The hotel was modern with a stunning roof top bar and in a great location overlooking the Oceanogràfic centre . Easy taxi ride to the beach area and a pleasant stroll up to the old town

Unfortunately the Pool was not in use , despite the temperature being 24 degrees on the Saturday.

Lovely hotel. Great location to explore Valencia, rooftop bar which provided a great place to relax whilst the Sun was out.

We moved rooms as a small cockroach greeted us in the first one! Could do with a comfy bar seating area downstairs as an alternative to the rooftop bar. Despite checking in online beforehand, we still had to check in again. Maid service was OK...beds were made, towels folded but coffee etc. not always replaced, wardrobe doors not closed etc. I expected a little more for the price of a junior suite.

Breakfast was amazing and great as it was served until 11am at the weekends. Huge selection of hot, cold, traditional, European. Coffe to take away at the end of service. Excellent location. Walked everywhere despite being out of town. Staff helpful with any problems.Rooftop bar was fun, great place to end asummer evening. Space of junior suite was great.

The restaurant work-hours are a bit restrictive (they start at 8pm for dinner) and we had some trouble to accommodate and manage our baby daughter needs

Room size and set-up, breakfast and staff were absolutely at high-level. Enjoyed the position, close to the park and a few minutes of taxi from the marina and the city center.

We went for a large sporting event. It was early so we asked if breakfast would be anticipated, as a lot of guests in the hotel would attend this event. It was not anticipated but they told us they would supply breakfast boxes (by a not very happy hostess in the hotel front desk). The breakfast box was a cheese and ham sandwich, a small bottle of water, an old tangerine and a bag of broken oreos. Planning on attending ironman next year in valencia again, but Barcelo will probably not be my choice because of this

The rooftop bar was not serving any kind of food. Drinks were very expensive. The view of the park was the best.

The hotel is gorgeous. It was my husbands birthday & when we arrived there was a bottle of champagne, a slice of delicious basque cheesecake & a birthday card from the hotel left in our room. The rooftop bar was stunning at sunset.
