There seemed to be an issue around the pool with flys. Every few seconds I had flys landing over me which is most irritating. Maybe some traps would be nice? Food at the bar for lunch is crazy expensive for what it is. I had a patatas Bravas type dish which was essentially 3 new potatoes cut in half and deep fried served with a dollop of sauce on top, which I believe was about €14! Lastly, some of the staff appear to have an issue with communication. It costs nothing to say ‘good morning’ in whatever language you feel. I may be English but I can articulate good morning in about 9 languages. Neither morning did any staff member greet me! One morning I had a male and female staff member have a conversation over me while I was eating my breakfast! Incredibly rude. The food in the buffet was ok, but I don’t think it lives up to 5 stars! The dinner buffet is definitely not 5 stars and I wouldn’t pay to dine again.

The property has gone a long way to be environmentally friendly, so far as bamboo room cards, paper straws, choice of towel changes and more. However the bamboo cards don’t fit in the room key, so there’s a plastic key there permanently, which means any lights and ac are also running permanently too. Nice atmosphere at the pool, quiet and good selection of drinks.

Excellent breakfast. Everything was excellent. On arrival in our room the staff had placed a bottle of Cava in an ice bucket, along with chocolates and a card wishing us a Happy Anniversary, ( it was our 45th ), which was a really nice touch.

The only thing that was negative was the food it was cold ( cold fried eggs ) things put on cold plates with no way of keeping them warm only negative

Only issue I would say is you probably need to rent a car to get about as it’s quite secluded but worth it for the peace and the views

The staff are lovely especially Sara the receptionist she made us feel so welcome went above an beyond to help us, the whole hotel is beautiful clean and modern our room was lovely also huge balcony kitchenette very comfy bed, we loved the b heaven roof terrace an pool spend most days there in all we loved everything about the hotel

Breakfast was correct, room was clean. Staff was nice and helpful. The main concern was the pool restaurant, no experienced waiters, normal food quality, they switched the ice-cream sauce. I can not recommend this restaurant but there is no other available un the hotel. In general is a 3-4 stars hotel amenities. Not valued the money we paid

Bit isolated, when looking for food outside the hotel you need a car or taxi. Hard to get food delivered.

Beautifully clean and peaceful. Spent weekend alone with my kids and throughly enjoyed the peace. Food was good, lunch was very good in the pool bar. So clean and beautifully styled hotel, we had a suite which was amazing with a stunning terrace.

Many employees do not speak English well. There is a fee for one hour in the spa (around 20€), which is very unusual for this hotel category. No restaurant during weekdays (we had to go to the hotel next to this one). No shop in the hotel.

Very clean and big suite (45m2) with a terrace. Great view on the mountains. Very comfortable beds. Free parking for the car.

Alex was a superb host, extremely welcoming and helpful. The hotel was lovely with beautiful outdoor areas and very comfortable rooms, we would definitely recommend and we will certainly return.

very comfortable beds, very clean, fabulous pool and immaculate gardens. The staff accommodated us at the Barceló La Nucia Hills hotel whilst the Palms hotel was closed until June. They helped move us back to the Palms when my brother arrived in June and put us in rooms next to each other for which I’m most grateful

The bar during the day didn't have much, no cocktails or snacks available. Rooftop bar isn't currently open also which was one thing I was looking forward to!
