Beautiful modern hotel right on the sea front with stunning views over the bay. Our hotel room and bathroom were large with a beautiful sea view. Staff were very helpful. We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel as it was expensive (although there was a lovely cafe on the ground floor where you could have a hot drink and pastries for breakfast at a good price). The restaurant was packed on Sunday which indicates the food must be very good. Fantastic location by the sea front and next to the old town. Easy to get a bus directly to the beautiful beaches. Would definitely recommend the hotel. Very good value for money.

Menus in restaurant could have had more variety. Breakfast perhaps slightly over-priced.

Good location adjacent to ferry and cathedral. Only short walk to bus station and railway stations. Close to all town facilities. Restaurant staff very amenable.

Nothing - I was more than content with everything,

We have stayed here serveral times over the years and always found it convenient, pleasant and cosy., with charming staff. This time our room was larger than usual with a 'dressing room' off the entrance hall, which was a bonus. Unusually for us we also had breakfast and it proved to be a good decision. Car parking is an extra charge but it is as secure as one can find, buried underneath the hotel and accessible by car elevator.

Just a few negatives on the hot breakfast foods.

The location was perfect for our Ferry. The reception staff were very friendly. Our room was very clean and comfy. The bathroom was brilliant with a huge double shower. The view was amazing being 8 floors up. The on-site cafe was very good and made the best cappuccinos. Breakfast was amazing. We were totally spoilt for choice. Excellent quality. The cooked breakfast could have been hotter, not the best fried eggs.

I thought the breakfast was a little expensive, though good. For my second nights stay i went into Santander, 10 minute walk, and had breakfast in a local cafe for a fraction of the price

The entrance doors into the rooms could not be closed quietly. Which became a nuisance when trying to sleep at night.

We liked the bar/cafeteria along with the rest of the amenities. Also the very helpful staff.

I've said it all above, the hot food in the breakfast buffet was often cold as it was not kept heated, just in covered trays.

Buffet Breakfast was adequate, was paid as an extra cost, which we had assumed was included in our booking price. Hot food was quite cold as not kept hot, just covered. Decent choice of cold cuts, fruit, juices. Reason we chose the hotel was its city centre location which was ideal for our visit.

The breakfast was very good other than they didn't have any cold milk for the cereals only hot milk out of the coffee machine.

Location was perfect, We ate in the hotel one evening and the food was fantastic, room and view over the bay was fab. The staff were very accomodating, welcoming and nothing was too mush trouble.

Good location near the Cathedral, shops and restaurants. Very convenient for ferry port. Our room was very large with excellent facilities. Great walk in shower. Very good cafeteria attached . Bus stops nearby and taxis a short walk. Fabulous panoramic views of the bay from our room. The truffles provided for our Golden Wedding Anniversary were a nice touch.

A small thing but would have liked a hook outside the shower, for the towel.
