I wish they explain about cafeteria in the lobby because we didn’t know we can eat or drink at the lobby until the last day of staying

Amazing location, friendly staff, and clean beautiful hotel. They had water and candy at the lobby for guests. Water pressure was good and AC was adjustable in the room so you can be comfortable. Overall, I love it and I enjoyed it!!

Unfortunately, we found the room walls to be paper thin to the point where you could hear every single word of conversation in the surrounding rooms, so not much rest. The entry doors are quite old school and tend to get stuck, we kept hearing neighbors being unable to enter their rooms. It would have been nice to have a kettle. Otherwise, a lovely stay that really elevates your experience in the city!

Superb location – makes it easy to walk to the main locations, or to instantly access metro/bus for sights further away. Plenty of stores and cafes around. Great housekeeping, fresh water and coffee every day. Nice breakfast. The hotel interior is full of historic elements, really adds to the charm. Lovely rooftop terrace with a view of the city, including Sagrada. We also really appreciated the celebratory gift from the hotel staff. An added bonus – an amazing tapas restaurant right around the corner.

The breakfast was a bit disappointing, cold mushy scrambled eggs. Lacking of quality and freshness for 4 star hotel it’s more a 3 star breakfast. The rooms are not worth the price, it lacks attention to detail and needs some maintenance. Paint is bubbling from water damp and the AC jumps to 23 degrees automatically.

The location was great. Love the character of the hotel. Staff was super friendly.

The hotel was immaculate and smelled amazing! The staff were really friendly, and very helpful. We loved the rooftop terrace, with panoramic views, as well as the pool (although it was absolutely freezing!) The location was perfect, super central and very close to the metro. The hotel were really sweet and sent up a bottle of Cava on my birthday, which was much appreciated. We were very sad to leave!

The hotel was central and so we could walk almost everywhere. The staff were attentive and really helpful and delivered service with a smile.

It’s a little dated, the bedroom especially. The rest of it has a kind of old world charm, but that equals stuffiness in the bedroom. The pool is TINY - that was why I picked it, and paid a premium vs other 4 star hotels.

I found breakfast a bit ordinary and less attractive, could have been better. I expected more variation in different tastes.

Hotel is a genuine classic I might say, with a traditional 20's and 30's ambience, the halls and lobby areas had been genuinely kept as they were back in the old days. Room was spatious and convenient.

Older, vintage hotel with some updates (older room/newer bath) Needs more updating & more basic room amenities however for the quality & location overall really not a bad choice. I would stay there again. Amazing staff!

Unbeatable location!!! On Gran Via, super central, steps from Catalyuna plza & tons of restaurants, shoppes… absolutely everything (but Sagrada familia) steps away.
